They are punctual and professional. I even got my neighbors to use them.

They do excellent work.  They are prompt, efficient and friendly.

Never heard back. I (sort of) understand not wanting or having time for my business, but a call back is expected.

They are very affordable in their line off work and very easy to work with.

The meeting went very well. The representative was polite, listened to the services that I needed, was professional, and finished in a timely manner. His quotes were competitive and closely matched what I'm currently paying another lawn care provider.

The owner is very responsive to requests and returns phone calls withing a timely manner. The young men who come weekly do a nice job and the yard is left in a clean manner.

I called on June 12, 2013 and left a message asking if they're accepting new customers for lawn cutting services. I never received a return phone call. I guess once these companies have enough customers they don't care about any potential new customers. If they don't want to return phone calls, they could at least put a message on their voice mail stating that they're not accepting new customers. It is rude not to return phone calls and a very poor business practice. If someone asks me about this company I would tell them not to waste their time.

We were living in Arizona, bought a home in Michigan. Read the reviews on Angie's list regarding Town and Country Lawn Service. We desperately needed someone to help us out. The yard was a disaster! John trusted us to pay him, and begin the process of making our yard presentable. Every step of the way John returned our calls and kept all his promises to us. John is more than dependable, honest and reliable! We were very blessed to have found Town and Country Lawn Service

Can't give a rating as never used/received service.

They have always been terrifically responsive.
For example, when some tree branches were blown down after a wind storm, I phoned and they came right over with a wood chipper, and removed the branches the same day.
They charge on a and quot;per cutand quot; basis, and charged a separate charge (which I think is fair) for things like tree/bush/hedge trimming, tree removal, stump-grinding and leaf clean-up. I've found their pricing, in terms of the amount of time they spend, and the thoroughness of their work, very fair. The price I listed was for services provided throughout the entire and quot;seasonand quot;, which, in 2012, ran from March through November, and included not just lawn maintenance but the and quot;extraand quot; services I've listed.

When I called, I was in desperate need of a new lawn service. After striking out with a few others here (no response or didn't service my area), John called back right away and came out that same day to give me an estimate. He was very professional and friendly, and charged me $4 less per week than my previous lawn care company. They've been cutting my grass since then, and don't cut (or CHARGE) on weeks the grass is growing slow and doesn't need to be cut. I also appreciate how they don't cut the grass too short, as was my experience with another company. And when I've included a tip with my automatic payment thru my bank, instead of just keeping the money, he's actually put in on the invoice as a credit.

There was a bit of phone tag involved due to a conflict between their business hours and my work hours (and my inability to make personal calls at work), but John worked with me and we were able to coordinate getting the work done. Very pleased to have someone come out on a regular schedule and not worry about my flowers and plants being mowed down. The work was performed as requested and within an appropriate and mutually agreed on time table. I am overall very happy with the service from start to finish.

Since they never bothered to return any of my messages, I cannot rate their work. But if this is the way they treat prospective customers, I can't imagine the service after signing up for a seasonal contract.

I put in about 10+/- calls to different companies. Of those companies, a number told me that while their websites indicated they serviced my area, really they don't. I had a number not return my call at all, and 3 who scheduled appointments to check out my lawn and give me an estimate. Of those, the only person who kept our appointment was John. He gave me an extremely reasonable estimate, and since it was late Friday afternoon, assured me that he would have his people here on Monday to groom my yard for me.
Monday morning, my doorbell rang, the gentlemen here had me confirm what they were to do, I went back inside to continue on an article I am working on, and at some point, realized it was awfully quiet outside. So I peeked out. It was like little elves had been here! My yard is beautiful! My flower beds inviting! And they left the chopped up plants in my flower beds for natural mulching!
If I hadn't already scheduled regular work with them, I'd be on the phone right now, scheduling regular work with them.

Town and Country came out, provided an estimate and then showed up to do the agreed upon work. They performed the lawn service for the whole month and sent an invoice for the month. The price they quoted was the most resonable of all the quotes we received. They also provided me with a solution to a situation they found with my lawn at another very reasonable rate. We are very happy with the service we have received and will continue with Tand C for the 2012 lawn season.

Excellent work. Very upfront and honest, knowledgeable and trustworthy. Did an excellent job and was there when he said he was going to be there. We will have him do any of our lawn care needs including fall clean up and lawn maintenance. Fair pricing and great quality. We are very happy and will continue to use them.

The owner, John, came out a few days after I called for an estimate. I gave him my list of needs for removal of some very old shrubs and a small tree, realine the iron edging around a berm, replace all shrubs on berm, trim a few lower branches on large trees and bushes. I asked for new ideas on the type of plants best suited for the area . He was glad to help me out with suggestions and even left me information on native plants I might like.
A crew showed up the early next morning. They removed what was needed , Trimmed Trees and weeded, in just a few hours the yard was cleaned and the berm ready for planting, There was a problem with the edging being realined around the berm because of the trees near by, which had such a large root system pushing against it , John came up with an idea that turned out great.
A week or so later the new plants arrived. Even though it was raining that morning, the crew set to work fertilizing and planting, now my old yard looks like new. I'M VERY HAPPY AND YES, I WILL CALL THIS COMPANY AGAIN.

I have called this company at least ten times during the last three days. They answer their phone with a voice system only. They have not returned my phone calls. As a potential customer, this is very frustrating. I do not plan on calling them again due to this type of handling of simple inquiries for service, I am afraid to do any business with them now if they can't even answer their phone calls or return phone calls.

They are a no-frills company. They do what they say when they say reliability and for a fair price. When I had an issue with a pvc pipe that was damaged presumably from their lawn equipment, they came out the next day and fixed it without any problem whatsoever.
