If anyone in the Metro Detroit region is looking for work to be done in the area of polished concrete, the honesty and integrity of this company alone highly recommends them. I recently contacted Romer Decorative Solutions about a possible project in my home. Romer's owner, Justin, responded to my request for a quote quickly and furnished me with much information. After I sent a lengthy follow up email with many details and questions, he again quickly responded addressing each of my points. After all of this, he honestly counseled me against going forward with the services his company could offer. When other companies could have (and in the past have) simply not put in the time and care to address concerns expressed, or sometimes respond at all, he took the time to thoroughly walk me through my questions and concerns. He explained that the project I was pursuing was likely a bad fit for the circumstances that I had described and why. In addition, he gave me a general pricing break down to explain that had I wanted to move forward, the project would not likely be cost effective in relation to other alternatives that exist. He even included pictures in his response of jobs that he felt came somewhat close to what I was describing and how the results would likely turn out. Justin could have easily taken advantage of me and steered me toward a costly, time consuming project that would have yielded dubious results in order to enrich himself. Instead, he provided me with honesty, professionalism, courtesy, and excellent service. He even suggested alternative options for my project and provided links. None of this brought him or his company a dime, but his obvious commitment to being a straight shooter has left me to now consider paths for my project that will likely yield much more desirable results (likely for much less out of my pocket). It is rare that one comes across an individual or company with this level of integrity and responsiveness.
