Wood is awful. Covered in dirt, literally, and soaked to the bone. Have to brush dirt off of every log before bringing it into the house. Hope it dries out by next fireplace season. Lost cause for this year. Worst face cord of wood I've ever bought. Would never use them again.

The customer service was horrible. I first called on April 1st for an estimate which was supposed to be done within 48 hours. After several phone calls, one of the guys finally did a drive-by on April 5th but did not leave the estimate in the mailbox like I was told he would. After several more phone calls and a week or so passed, I finally got the estimate in the mailbox. I confirmed the services on April 18th and gave $100 deposit. I was told the work would be completed within 1-2 weeks (possible rain delays were baked in). During this entire process, I have always been the one who had to call and take the initiative on everything. It never seemed like they really wanted my business (and the job was going to be over $1K.). I called last week on May 18th asking when the services would be completed because 4 1/2 weeks had passed without a word. I was told Barry was off-site and would call me back. Of course he never did. Today is now May 22nd and I am canceling the job and requesting my $100 deposit be returned to me today. To make matters worse. the girl on the phone is argumentative and basically called me a liar saying, "we would never say that." She even questioned whether or not they really took a deposit from me which I can guarantee is reflected on my current American Express statement. This type of customer service and lack of response and willingness to help is completely unacceptable. I was more than patient throughout this process.

I ordered two cords of seasoned firewood to be delivered. I received two cords of freshly cut green wood. They returned after several phone calls and delivered 1 more cord of seasoned firewood with no additional charge. I had to call 4 times because "Rob" was always out of the office and he asked  me to call him back. Good customer service would be for Rob to call me back.  He was not very friendly to deal with, but he did apologize for delivering green wood. I would get your firewood elsewhere.

They were good. They were reasonably priced. They did a good job. The grasses were cut beautifully.

Reliable landscaping did a fantastic job on my home. They had the attention to detail that I require.

Reliable has been top notch throughout all the projects we have had done or quoted.
Jim was extremely professional. He showed up exactly when he said he would, and was a pleasure to talk to, even offering helpful info along the way.
Reliable was very reasonable in terms of costs as well. They were quoted against other local companies and either were the lowest, or close to it on every project so far.
The support staff at the office is top notch as well, with Michelle and Taylor responding to emails extremely prompt and with the appropriate information the first time.
The Sod looks great even after a hard winter, with the sprinkler system performing well. The landscaping / brick walls turned out great, as Jim was creative working within our budget.
Unfortunately, the only problem we have ran into with Reliable is that they are booked quite in advance (which given their quality does not surprise me). I would definitely recommend using them, just plan a little in advance and you'd be fine.
All in all, a pleasure to deal with!

Reliable Landscaping did a fantastic job. They were able to do a drive by quote when I wasn't home. I was satisfied with the quote so I scheduled. They came out when promised and were done in about three hours. Everything looks better then new, and no longer have a humid basement! Will definitely use again!

It was okay. I schedule their appointment when they send a reminder card. I do it on a case-by-case basis. They are courteous, punctual, professional and provide good workmanship.

Our experience from start to finish was exceptional. The office staff particularly, Michelle, answered our questions and scheduled an appt. promptly. Tom, the estimator, came out and did the quote which was very reasonable and we decided to expand the project. They got back to us promptly with a new estimate which we accepted and scheduled a date. The crew arrived 15 minutes early and jumped right in. Jim, the supervisor, went over everything with me. When it came time to plant, he had me walk through and review the final placement. The crew finished up, cleaned up and was gone by mid afternoon. It couldn't have gone better. I would not hesitate to recommend Reliable to all my friends and family. They were terrific!

The estimator arrived at our house exactly on time. He was very helpful in offering options abour what would look best for our house. The quotation was competitive and the schedule reasonable. We received a call about one week prior to the start of work (sooner than expected) and the team started right on time. Every day the crew worked from 7 am to about 6 pm. Reliable cared about the quality of the shrubs and greenery and gave us advice on the care and pruning of our new items. They also gave us a free bucket of and quot;Deer Scramand quot; to help protect our investment! They left the area in impeccable shape. We are very happy with their performance.

They showed up when I was told. It was like watching the Extreme Makeover Show the way they did the work. They were very hard working, each had a job to perform, and did it with precision, and were so careful not to ruin any flowers or plants I had. I have a very steep hill in my yard and it is quite a distance from the driveway where all the mulch and dirt were. I figured the job would take 5-6 hours or more. They were finished in less than three hours and cleaned up everything to where my house looked perfect. Not one piece of material left for me to discard. The driveway was cleaned to the point you never knew I had dirt or mulch delivered! They asked me if there was anything I wasn't happy with or had a problem with. My house looked like it was ready to be photographed for a magazine cover. Fantastic job. I will have them out again!

Estimate of work was provided in April with anticipated start date of late May or early June. Weather (rain periods) delayed the project several times which was expected. The only issue I had with the delays were notification of what was going on. I would get a start date (about a week out) and wouldn't hear anything until I called the day before expected start. The office girls would need to get with a manager to get a new date which may be a week or two away. This happened twice which caused me to delay and reschedule other things.
Once work started, the crews were courteous and performed work well and quickly. An area that was not slated for new sod was beat up pretty bad by the sprinkler crew, but Reliable re-sodded this area at no additional costs. I gave Jim, the project manager, complete authority to design and install a landscape area in the front and he did a very nice job. It was clean and simple and should be easy to maintain.
I had to call Reliable regarding small area by the pool where the sod was burning up, and within days, the sprinkler heads were adjusted and new sod replaced the affected area.
Complete job was priced at about 40% less than competitive bid from Twin Oaks Landscaping in Ann Arbor.

The guy (Mike? I'm terrible remembering names) was on time and got right to work. He had been servicing my system for years and knew all about it. He checked every head, replacing two, and answering all my questions - and there were many - as he went along. He gave me some advice on watering (over v. under) and cleaned up after himself. The service call was $50, and there was a charge for the two heads he replaced. I was a little surprised when I got the invoice to see the charge for the heads - I guess the only thing I'd have liked would have been for Mike to tell me when he replaced them that they would show up as line-items on the invoice. Not a big deal - I expect to pay for materials, it's just that as a new customer I wasn't sure what the protocol was (what's covered and what's not). I certainly will continue to use Reliable - they live up to their name

They were a bit slow to do the work but we were requesting services towards the end of the summer when they were very busy. Barry was very easy to work with and was willing to meet at odd hours to fit my work schedule.

My experience working with Tom was excellent. In fact, I intend to contact him again this spring to handle some other outdoor work for me.

Amazing! We were thrilled by the results, and by the way the team worked together. Barry came out with us, and talked with us about what we wanted, and then came up with a plan and estimate. They were flexible about scheduling, though because they are so popular, we did have a bit of a wait--but that ended up being fine!
The work is great. We live on a steep hill, and have lakefront property, so the challenges were there: how to create a great look, with sustainable plants, and without negative impact on the environment. They put in two rows of boulders to terrace the front, and reduce the danger of mowing. Great plants on the top of the terraced areas, designed both for variety, and for good color all year round. On the lakeside, they put in another row of boulders to break that up, and created a walkway down to the lake for hauling stuff up and down. Again, grasses along this area, reducing the mowing and also something that should be tolerant of the road salt in the winter. They buried a conduit for water and electric along the area, and measured the distance from a stationery object so that we'd always know where it was.
They cleaned up the flower beds around the house, and included some free plantings when they realized that they hadn't provided for enough in the initial quote.
They were off a bit in the estimate, but not by much. Mostly it was that instead of the projected 55 tons of boulders, they needed 60 tons! Watching them move these with their Bobcat was amazing.
We were so thrilled with everything they did, and it was great to see such a smooth working team. All the plantings are guaranteed for a year, and they will come back and replant grass in the spring if it doesn't take this late in the year. They put straw blankets down to reduce erosion, and prevent birds from eating the seed.
I can't say enough good about them all! Very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. And did I mention--they installed our new mailbox, too!
