MR Remodeling

Jim is very busy. We scheduled in early November for a March time frame. As March approached we received a specific date when they would start the work. Jim and his son showed up promptly on the date scheduled as they did each morning. We had picked out replacement tile and counter top at local vendors in coordination with Jim. At the end of the week our bathroom was completely redone. All work was very professional. They were very careful to put down drop cloths where they walked in and out of the house. It is obvious as to why Jim is in such high demand!

Fantastic

We had stripped off old wallpaper in a small bathroom since we wanted to paint. We discovered that the walls had not been properly prepped by the builder years ago. They had been wallpapered originally using some kind of adhesive instead of water soluble paste. In addition, there were imperfections in the original wall board before the wall paper applied. After we got all of the original paste removed we were left with walls that had some gouges, surface paper gone, etc. Skim coating the walls to get a smooth surface was needed but a job we had never attempted. We called Jim to inquire if he was willing to take on such a small job. He came that day, looked at it and gave us a quote. Since it was such a small task, he worked it in over a few days after his regular jobs.

Jim is friendly, professional and has many creative ideas. The remodeling Jim did in my laundry room looks great. I would highly recommend Jim.

Jim went out of his way to look at a plumbing problem and make a referral.  I am in Virginia and the rental property is in Plymouth  He felt that a plumber with a professional snake would be the best to resolve the problem.  The professionalism and commitment to customer service of MR Remodeling and owner Jim are without question, exceptional.

Jim's workmanship is superior - highly professional - extremely pleasant to work with.  Highly recommended to anyone that is in need of his services.  Very honorable.

Jim and Rich are FANTASTIC!! I cannot say enough about the quality of their work, right down to the finest details! They tore apart the old bathroom, put in new tile floor, new tile bath surround, new bathtub, new toilet, changed our once one sink bathroom into a double sink, installed air vent, new lighting, vanity, sinks, granite countertop, etc...total bathroom redo! They were ALWAYS on time, exactly when they said they would be, cleaned up beautifully after each day and besides all that, they are just all around awesome guys! The kitchen wall they opened was EXACTLY how I wanted it to be and I expected a huge dusty mess, but they must have run the vacuum the whole time they were doing it because it wasn't nearly what I expected as far as dust! Again, can't say enough!! Jim and Rich are STARS!

It was a pleasant experience to have the very same people who measured and quoted the job, actually do the rough and finish work, installations, etc.  They operated efficiently, worked with us on needed decision-making, and were ableto steer us through some potential issues we might have caused ourselves.  It was obvious they take a lot of pride in their job, and it shows!  We are completely satisfied.
We will definitely call them again.

They were very professional, letting us know ahead of time when they would come and how long the job would take (one week).  They were punctual each morning, placed padding down to protect our hardwood floors, and they cleaned up before they left each evening.  They were also great communicators, making sure they knew what we wanted in detail.  They gave us a lower price than we were quoted from several other contractors and stores, and they finished the work more quickly than other contractors promised.  When there was a problem with some parts missing from our faucet and light fixture, they came back as soon as possible (on a Saturday) to fix it.  They did a beautiful job and we're very pleased with the results.

Complete Kitchen re build

This was one of the best experiences we have had with contractors/builders. Rich and Jim were punctual and responsive from the first call requesting an estimate. They provided a fair estimate and gave us an honest time-frame for the work.
When they called to say they could begin a week earlier than expected we were delighted. They completed the work in the 4 days they had anticipated. They were clean, the workmanship is excellent, and they stayed within their estimate. They even made a trip to the appliance store to measure a floor model of the appliances we bought.
We were very pleased. This was the first time in 25 years we have selected a contractor we didn't know or who had not been referred by a friend. We based our decision on Angie's List and on the professionalism of Rich and Jim from the beginning. We will definitely use them for future projects.

One of the owners, Jim, arrived promptly to give us an estimate. He was very knowledgeable and professional. On the installation date, he and his partner arrived at the arranged time, completed the work, and everything is functional and lovely! One of the reasons that I chose them is because the partners do the work themselves rather than subcontractors. Also, they cleaned the area, and left no mess behind in the room!

Mr. Remodeling is by far the BEST contractor I have ever run across.  They weren't the cheapest but their work is exceptional. Very kind, respectful of our home and cleaned up daily. They even wiped down the 1/2 bath sink and commode after using it the entire day.  Also let the dog out when she had to go. 110% recommendation

Jim and Rich were great.  The job was completed in 2.5 days which met their estimate.  They arrived everyday on time and worked efficiently and were very clean.

All work exceeded our expectations and their pricing was very reasonable.  I would highly recommend these guys.

Rich and Jim took time interacting with us to understand our preferences.  They helped us by making suggestions and did not try to rush us into anything.  They suggested a tile supplier to work with, and once we knew what we wanted they provided us a very detailed quote.  They performed the work very carefully.  Both bathrooms were on the second floor, and all of the tile cutting was done in the garage.  But there was very little disruption while the job was being done and they were very careful and tidy. 

We are very happy with the finished product.  We recommend them without question.  They are skilled craftsmen and honest, reliable people.

It went great form the very 1st Day until the last Day the project went along very well and even ahead of schedule.

They provided excellence in every category.  We discovered a water leak that was located under our window and behind the kitchen sink and cabinets.  We thought this would be a DYI project that we could handle.  So the day after Thanksgiving we removed the counter and some cabinets.  But we discovered the damage was much more extensive than we thought, and was not something we could handle alone.  We called them on a holiday weekend and they were at our house within an hour.  They did an assessment and agreed to start the work as soon as our insurance adjuster was done.  They had to coordinate scheduling with the window contractor, granite fabricator, and a back-ordered cabinet.  But they worked diligently to complete the work as quickly as possible.  They always were on time and generally worked 8-9 hours/day with only a short lunch break.  Their workmanship and detail were meticulous.  They took all measures to prep the area and clean up after work was done for the day.  They removed and disposed of all trash. 

We hired them last year to replace a tile floor, and they did a fabulous job.  We plan on having them do additional work for us in the future.  I cannot say enough good things about the two men who comprise Mr Remodeling.  I would recommend them highly for any job they agree to perform.

Great job.  This was the best experience with a contractor we have ever had.  We got quotes from at least 10 contractors from this website, and went with Jim and Rich after reviewing the estimates and meeting them in person.  These guys were fantastic in everything they did from meetings with the city and plan review to the quality of the work they did.  The project was completed on time and on budget!

I can't say enough about the great job these two men did for us. We had already purchased new carpeting for rooms adjacent to the hallway, and expected it to be installed within the next week or so. At the last minute, we decided to replace the tile, and wanted it done before the new carpeting. When we called for an estimate, they came to our home the same evening and provided an itemized estimate within a day or so. When we asked if they could get the work done within the next week or two, they let us know that they already had a number of jobs lined up, but would try to squeeze us in. And they were as good as their word. The next week they had an opening, and called us to set up the work. Unlike many contractors we have dealt with, MR Remodelers came promptly on schedule and stuck with the job until it was done. Their workmanship was excellent and exceeded our expectations. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone and will use them for future jobs in our home.
