I absolutely 100% recommend Dr Jackson to anyone! My Grandma went to him for her pets, my Mom has always went to him, and now I go to him as well. He is a fantastic human being and shows great compassion and knowledge of and for animals. Heck I'd consider going to him if I were sick!

My dog ended up having pancreatitis which only worsened as time passed. I ended up taking him to the emergency vet and they said he was in a lot of pain and in significant health danger. The emergency vet instructed us to have a followup visit with our vet at SouthKent in three days. When I called for the follow-up Appt. they said they could not see him until the following week. I found another highly rated Vet that agreed to see him that day and have made the switch. I use to have a positive view of this Vet but I believe they have taken on too many animals for the staff they have available. A simple test could have diagnosed the problem and treatment could have been started earlier, reducing the suffering my dog went through and avoided the potential health damage that is associated with untreated pancreatitis.

I can't say enough good things about this veterinary clinic. We have been going to them since our dogs were pups and find the doctors caring and informative and not perform unnecessary treatments. Their costs are reasonable compared to other clinics in town but do quality work.

One of their principal vets performed palate surgery on our bulldog pup when he was still a pup because his breathing was affected. The surgery resolved his breathing issues and he lived to 12 years - a long life for a bulldog. I especially appreciated how their staff showed their sympathy and compassion when we brought each of our dogs to them when they reached the end of their lives and how they administered the necessary treatment.

They also have a kennel for their patients. I appreciated the fact that their patient dogs were given priority for kenneling and that  I felt comforted that they were in a vets clinic while we were away.

We still go to them with our mutt. I highly recommend Southkent  based on our very positive experience with them.

Southkent Vet is fantastic. The prices are very reasonable with multi-shot discounts and no visitation fee like we get charged at most other vets. All the doctors are very knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions you have. We drive 30 minutes after moving to keep the great service we get there.

They are great. I love them. They have great vets, good pricing and always available to get in. I am just really happy to be with them.

Always very good, I've been using them for years and never had any issues. The prices were always really fair.

As always, we were able to bring our pet in for a same day appointment. We brought our cat in for what we thought were ear mites. After a thorough examination, including an ear swab and examination under the microscope, it was found that our cat has allergies. The cat's ears were cleaned and medicated, and a cortisone injection was administered. Every single one of the veterinarians there are SO nice and professional. I am so thankful that we have such a wonderful clinic so close to home.

I've used them from shots and check-ups as well as more serious problems. They have always been very good and I would highly recommend them.

I'm very happy with him. He has treated my dogs for about 30 years. He is very honest and straight forward.

I take my pet to them quite often. They are really caring. I have used them several times for emergencies services, and they get right back to you if you have an emergency. Overall I like really them. I would continue to use them again in the future.

I have been using their services for the last 25 years. I am very protective of my dogs and I trust them with my dogs. They are an excellent provider and I have not met a doctor in there that I didn't like. They are very gentle and compassionate people. I like the fact that you don't feel like you have to take out a second mortgage if you want to take your dog or pets there for care. They are very reasonably priced. I will keep using them as long as I am walking this earth.

The doctor briefly looked at the ear and told me to put Neosporin on it when my dog scratched it. No attempt at discovering the cause of the problem was made. No attempt at preventing the problem was made. And frankly, I could have determined putting Neosporin on it was a good idea all on my own. I am extremely displeased with this doctor, one of several in the practice. I will never see her again if I choose to ever visit South Kent again.

I've been taking my dogs and cats to this practice for over 12 years. I think this practice is wonderful and very reasonably priced. I appreciate that they do not gouge customers, or attempt to apply services and products that are not request.

We have gone to Southkent Veterinary Hospital several times before. We have always been very pleased with the staff there and the service they provide for our dog.
