Using the information they quickly came up with one solution and returned a second time to try another option when the first option did not completely satisfy our problem. The second option worked great.
We felt Seymour was very responsive. It was so satisfying to work with a contractor for whom "good enough" was not the standard, but worked in a partnership with the customer to get the job done well and complete.
They are pleasant, efficient and professional! In the past, we have had them come right out to the house and load the salt in the machine, but this time we went to them. It was so easy!
It was 160.00 to put in the system, and 20.00 a month after. It includes changing the filters.
I had them install the house water softener.
I elected not to do the individual water filtration under the kitchen sink because
of cost vs. my budget. It is an option I can utilize down the road if I prefer.
Very happy with service and employees.
No mess and no fuss.
Thank you,
"Thanks member for your kind words. We appreciate your business! Call on us anytime you have water concerns or need advise about your water treatment system."

"Member, I am sorry that you had a bad experience with our company and I would like to personally take this opportunity to reply to your comment. Our 1st service technician that we sent to your home identified several areas that needed to be worked on or replaced/repaired. Even though you told the receptionist that you wanted "everything" fixed our technician was letting you know what he saw and what he would recommend fixing in your home. His verbal quote should have been more accurate based on what he found. For this I am sorry. The reason he did not perform any work on the first appointment and needed to reschedule with you was because he found so much work to be done in your foreclosed home that he did not have ample time to fix everything. He did not want to reschedule the other 4-5 customers he had appointments for that day and this is something that we talk about in our weekly meetings. Again I apologize for this inconvenience. Sometimes a service call with its slotted time can be too overwhelming especially when we do not know what to expect such as in a foreclosed home. We rescheduled with you for another date. On the day we were to come back we had an emergency "leaker" call. It is typical in that situation to call scheduled customers and see if we can "bump" them to take care of the emergency. This is quiet typical for any service company to get to the "leakers" to prevent more damage. The reason we were late to our appointment with you was because a customer had a unit (not Maynard's) leak and we needed to get there first and then to our regular scheduled appointments(yours). Again, I am sorry for the inconvenience we caused. Our 1st technician did not check the filters on the reverse osmosis unit as he should have. We have since let this person go because he did not perform the quality of work that so many customers of Maynard's have come to expect. In his defense, he did discount his labor rate because he verbally quoted you too low and estimate, provided you with free salt for your inconvenience and we gave you a free filter change for your RO unit again for the mishap. Our second technician was sent because we let the first one go. He was sent to check on the icemaker issue. We had a breakdown in communication on our end and he should have inspected the work of our 1st technician (now gone!). For this I take complete responsibility. The hose that was removed out of the downstairs bar sink and the discharge of the RO on the sealed lift station were regrettable. One a complete accident and the other a short cut which MAYNARD'S WATER do not tolerate. Now for the issue of the icemaker. Our 2nd technician who I sent out to check on the icemaker and the RO unit was not aware of the new frig. needing a buster pump to make the ice. Our AQPC-35 RO unit works well without a pump but not to this new frig. This is why we recommended the pump. Our 3rd technician was aware of this. Again, the 2nd technician should have called back to the office to get a price instead of verbally giving the $100 price which was a guess. We are truly sorry for any inconvenience we have caused your family. Maynard's Water Conditioning has always stood behind our products and treated customers respectfully for over 38 years. We dropped the ball in several areas of communication and service. We terminated one employee because of quality and have looked into ways to prevent mistakes in the future. We hope that you would give us another chance to prove what the other 160 unverified and verified reports say: Maynard's Water Conditioning is the best in West Michigan for customer service. Sincerely, Paul Owens, Operations Manager"
