 + -1 moreAll he did was give us 250 feet of tubing for us to find a way to bury ourselves, he dropped the stove on our cement pad we were building a roof over and walls around (we left a wall open for him to get the furnace through) and he also left a tank and some parts, but not all the parts by a long shot. We ended up buying thousands of dollars worth of parts and having someone else install the furnace. He lied over and over again to us. First he quoted us one price for the furnace, and for parts and installation, and then every time we spoke with him he would change the price. He measured for the installation, but then he said he never intended to do the installation. We have since found out that he has done similar things to other clients of his, one an old widow. We have considered taking him to court for the money, but have not made a decision whether we will do that yet or not.
Description of Work: This company was referred to us by a wood boiler company. We contacted them for a quote on installation of a wood boiler for us and for our son, the GW200. He came out and quoted a price for the smaller 100 furnace as $10,000.00 and said that it would be $1800 more for the larger model. When we agreed to purchase the larger model, the 200, he was late in delivering it and did not answer our telephone calls or return our messages. When he finally delivered the furnace he asked for payment before he would do the installation work. We (stupidly I guess) paid him the amount of the bill. Then he never returned to install the furnace, refused to answer our telephone calls, and left us to find other means to install the furnace, resulting in us overpaying him by over $1700.00. We tried to get him to come and retrieve his furnace and give us a refund, but he did not, leaving us with it to install ourselves. He did tell us on the phone " do you realize how much it would cost you if I came out and hooked it up?"
