It started out well. They were originally very good with responding to emails and providing updates. The back was filled and leveled nicely, and on time (beginning of September). There were some areas torn up from the dump trucks, which was to be expected. The rolling and aeration didn't happen until the end of September, and still no grass seed at the beginning of October. I was told that the foreman didn't have the right seed on hand and would come back later to apply it. It was midway through October before they confirmed the seed had been put down, and by then a number of weeds and ryegrass had been established. I'm still facing some issues with my yard because of this, but it was never perfect to begin with. I will give them credit for doing a very good job for the area that was filled in, and they had the best price for the work done.

We redid the damage. Never heard back from the owners about making things right. Shame.

They have been very good about communicating with me on when they will be out and what they intend to do. They have done a good job of getting the snow out of the way and keeping the driveway clear. No complaints.

It was one of the worst experiences I have had.  They didn't cut the whole yard even the area that was obviously part of our property.  They we fine on the flat open space but if it required that they cut around trees, or other obstacles they just didn't!  The area in front of our fence they would stop 15 feet from the end.  The front of the house because it was not a square area they didn't cut, around trees they didn't cut, behind out storage shed that was outside of the fence...they didn't cut.
When I called the answers was well maybe they didn't realize it was part of the property?  What...the outside of the fence doesn't get cut but the inside does?  The area in front of the storage shed gets cut but the back doesn't.  When I would catch them at the house and stop them and tell them where to cut and then watch they would but otherwise it was not done.
If you don't have a perfect yard I would stay away from them.  They young workers are unwilling to put the effort into it.
Would definitely NEVER recommend!

It is reasonable to get an appointment. We are on a contract with them and they came out last week. They were professional and courteous and when you call them you don’t get them. They do good job when they show up.

They arrived on time and did what they were supposed too.  Except that I think the spreader was sticking as the fertilizer left streaks of green in the lawn where the fertilizer hit and was not as lush where it did not.  But the guy was very nice and on time.

When they said they'll come every Friday, they come earlier. They did a really good job. We're very impressed. Their office is really good. They're punctual and very professional. They're really good about moving things out of the way like the cat, kids' toys or something. They don't just mow around it, they moved it so that they could do a really good job.

I took advantage of a special deal from Angie's List: 1 application of pre-emergent crab grass preventer and 1 application of broad-leaf weed control and fertilizer, all for $55.  Jack's did the work at the perfect time for the lawn and it has never looked better.  I am considering signing for their entire lawn-care program.

Very well.  Had two applications spaced about 2 weeks apart.  i have noted a marked improvement in growth and thickness of the lawn.  Very good and inexpensive service.  Very reliable company.  Will recommend and use again.

Came out to check out what was needed and or wanted.  Came out a week later and thatced the yard and a few weeks later came back and did the rest, that is after the weather cleared up a bit.  Did a great job and would use them again, didn't try to sell me stuff that I didn't need or want.

I don't have weeds and lawn is looking good.
