I recently bought an older home and found the roof was leaking. Being new to the area, Good's Roofing was recommended to me. I called and was very pleased to hear a person answer the phone. She was pleasant, patient and friendly every time I called or came into the office. I told her I had water coming in and scheduled an inspection. Happily, they were able to come out much sooner than planned. He inspected the roof, getting up with a ladder and also the attic. As the roof had been repaired several times it now needed replaced. They were able to do the work quickly which was great since it was the end of November. The crew was polite and hardworking, only stopping once for a short lunch break, and completing the roof in one day. They laid down tarps before starting and cleaned up well but I did find a few nails on the driveway. I called and asked if they could come back and go over the area again with the magnet. They were happy to do it and came back within a few days. Overall I am very satisfied with my new roof and the service and competence of this company. Thank you Good's Roofing!

March 8, 2017 there was a major wind storm that went through our area. It ripped of shingles on every part of our roof as well as exposed a large portion of the plywood underneath the shingles. We called God's roofing to come and inspect our roof after we made a claim to our insurance. Joe was the roofer the company referred to us. He said it would be a little while before he could inspect our roof because of all the damage around the neighborhood and their workload. I understood that but still needed my roof taped where the wood was exposed. They came out the next day and charged us $500 for an emergency tarp. Weeks passed with numerous calls on when they would check out or roof in order to send an estimate to our insurance. Finally, they came out and examined our roof. Joe said we needed a whole new roof and would send my insurance the estimate as well as his findings. Another month went by and I contacted my insurance. They never recieved his estimate. So I called joe and he said he sent it to my fiance. My fiancé never recieved an email from him. So I called back and asked him to send it to me so I could send it to my insurance directly. Let me clarify that I only wanted the report to get the approval from my insurance e for the roof replacment. I was willing to wait until goods roofing had time to fix my roof. I understood they had tons of work and I'd have to wait my turn. Days passed, then he finally sent me 6 pictures. No report, just pictures. I called him again and he said I had to contact my insurance to get a second adjusment. When I spoke with my claims adjuster she said she needed his report and also set up an appointment for Saturday June 24th. More than 3 months after the initial storm. When I contacted Joe to request the actual report, he said he would bring the report to the second adjustment on that Saturday and he stated he would be there during the adjustment. Saturday came, and he never showed. My adjustors called him 3x. My adjustors waited 2 hours for him. My fiancé called him several times. I called him several times and left a voicemail. I even called goods roofing and selected the emergency line (because they are closed saturdays). I left a voicemail on their emergency line stating Joe never showed and we could not get ahold of him. It has been a week, and I have never gotten a return call from Joe or his company. They charged us $500 for an emergency tarp, and Joe mislead us the entire time that he would fix our roof. Due to the wind storm, roofers are backed up in our area. Now I had the luxory of contacting another company to do the work Joe and goods roofing promised to do. I have to start all over on the waiting list. I won't ha e a roof inspection from the company for four more weeks. Then after that, I get to wait until they have finished the work for clients in line prior to us. It's been since March 8th that our roof has been damaged and thanks to good roofing/Joe I don't believe my roof will be fixed any time soon. I will never refer his to friends or family. The company and Joe are very unprofessional.

When they came for the estimate of the required repairs, I felt that they were truthful in what needed to done and did not try to sell me a complete remove and replace roof.

I think they do excellent work and their cost is reasonable. The cost is $300. That is the least amount of work he will do on a roof. I thought it was reasonable because we have a steep roof and I was not about to go up there myself.

Everything went great--from making the appointment to them coming out and fixing the problem. I was pleasantly surprised when they were able to determine the problem and fix it on the spot. Shout out to Daryl who was the first who actually got out a ladder and climbed up on the roof to inspect it! All 3 other companies I had out for an estimate never did, and all three of them recommended new roofs costing thousands of dollars! Turns out it was a minor problem. I am happy to report that it has since rained and there was no more leaking! I am very happy with the work they did. I would absolutely hire them again and will highly recommend them to all my neighbors and friends.

To be fair, the sales and initial installation process was good. Decent communication along the way.
During the installation - there was a section of roof that was bare and not tarped securely enough overnight - which allowed some rain to leak in and stain some of my bedroom ceiling. The next morning the boards over that area were taken up - the insulation was lifted and the entire area dried. Since the roofing was completed - there has been no leak there since. We also were able to make agreeable arrangements to fix the stain inside - no problems there. Accidents happen - and they handled that one well.
Part of their re-roof was to replace all of the roof's can vents with a ridge vent system. Note the home has never had an issue with ventilation (I've NEVER had ice dams or icicles in any of the 13 years that I've lived there) - but I was told that this was so much better, etc. etc.
The roofing job was finished late October, 2013.
Over the course of the winter - one (and only one) section of roof was a solid ice dam all winter long. I've done all of the research - I know what causes ice dams - bad ventilation. There is now a large stain in our kitchen almost 3' x 3' where water continually poured in from the ice dam in this one section of roof. During the winter - Goods DID come out a few times and salt the area to get the ice melted and drained - with promise that whatever needed to be done to prevent future issues would be done as soon as the weather was mild enough to do so - they would call me to schedule time as soon as the snow had melted.
Another side issue is where they did not trim the shingles properly where the garage transitions to the house. Since settling -a row of shingles has all bunched up like little tee-pees.
After months of not hearing from them - I called them and was able to schedule an appointment about 2 weeks out. When they did come out:
- they agreed that the untrimmed shinges were an issue and he would send someone out to take care of them (never happened).
- I was given excuse after excuse why the newly formed ice dam problem couldn't have been their issue (even though they did change the entire ventilation system of the roof).
The entire reason that I chose to do business with this company was their warranty and positive reviews from other customers on this site. They offer a 10 year, no questions asked warranty on the entire roof. In fact, my house has two skylight windows - both of which were less than 5 years old - but on their inspection they required that one of them must be replaced so that they could stand behind the entire roof as a whole with the warranty.
To date - I will probably have to continue to chase and complain to this company to get my issues taken care of. I spent a LOT of money to replace a roof that probably really didn't need a full replacement - just so I wouldn't have these kinds of issues. I also paid a lot more money than other quotes I received - because I wanted to deal with a reputable company so I could rest assured that issues after the installation were taken care of.

"[member name removed], I apologize for the experience you had with our company. My goal is still the same since the day I started the business, that our customers should have a great experience working with our company. It doesn't sound like you had that experience, and that is my fault. Please feel free to call and talk to me personally, and if you are still experiencing any issues I would be more than happy to make a visit to your home & do a complete inspection of your home at no cost to you. It was definitely awesome. I would definitely recommend them. They came out for a free estimate because we had a lot of storm damage in our area because of ice storms and stuff. So they got to us as soon as possible, which was probably about a week and a half. But we didn't have a leaking roof, it was a hole into out attic, so we weren't first priority. But they were awesome. When they came out it was done in one day. He realized that he had the wrong size wood to repair it and he let us know that he had to just leave and go get the correct size and he would be back.

It was awesome all the way around.

We didn't really have anyone else but come out, I was looking at estimates online, but we liked the price.

The roofing project for my house was a massive job based on the numerous repairs required. I am so glad I contracted Good's Roofing, Inc. for this job for the following reasons:
My initial contact with Good's Roofing was with their Sales Representative, Ben Sprague. Ben was very professional and answered any questions I had about the project. Ben provided his e-mail address. cell phone number, and always provided an expedited answer to any inquiries. I also appreciated the quoting format that made selecting the roofing package I wanted an easier process. (I wanted 6 foot ice guards, synthetic underlayment, and HD shingles),
When I contacted their main office, I was always put in touch with a person (not a recording). All appointments and worked scheduled were completed at the promised time.
In all phases of construction: chimney repair, roof, and gutters; the installation crews were expert craftsmen and did a quality job on installation and cleanup. Their staff is very knowledgeable about their products and can make recommendations (i.e.; gutter water flow)
Devon Hall, General Foreman for Good's Roofing; continuously inspected the in process work to insure everything was to Good's Roofing high quality standards. He also did a final inspection of the completed project. Again, his cell phone number was provided if I had any questions.
Good's Roofing did a superior job in all the coordination with their crews to complete the project. In addition, they have a very thorough warranty on their work. In summary, Good's Roofing is an excellent company in quality, service and price.

I was pleased that they didn't use the free inspection offer to generate immediate repair business. They would be definitely at the top of my list whenever I need to have repairs or install new roof shingles.

First off, let me state that the men who actually came out and tore off the roof from the rear of our home and replaced it did an excellent job, were professional, and seemed to take pride in their work.
The problem was with the salesman, Ben, underestimated the cost of replacing the roof on the rear of our home. Of course, he did not discover the $1,200 error until after we had already signed the contract and had scheduled to work. To top it off, he did not even bother to call to explain - just sent an email!
The next problem surfaced when it was discovered that the repair job that we paid to have done on another part of the roof was done incompletely. They were supposed to put in step flashing and it was not discovered until 4 weeks later when our siding contractor was putting on our new siding. I chalk this up to a misunderstanding between their office and the work crew.
Finally, we asked were taking bids on getting new gutters installed and asked Ben twice for an estimate. Never got one until I asked the gentleman (Devin) who came out to confirm that they had not installed the step flashing. Today when Devin was back to install the step flashing, I asked about the estimate - he said Ben gave him a "number" only, not a written estimate and that rather than coming out to measure, he prepared it from the aerial view of our house that he ordered when estimating our roofing job. His gutter estimate was $6,000 more than the other two estimated I had received from other contractors. I even showed Devin one of the estimates as proof. I guess that the aerial view was not the way to go to estimate gutters!
!Not happy at all with the salemanship but happy with the roofing job as competed. Not sure I would deal with the same sales guy there, however

Each gutter was 65 feet long and after 9 months they are still up and not leaking. Goods was able to match the color off the down spouts and trim so we didn't have to repaint anything to match.
The two installers were competent and friendly. Usually gutters as long as ours required more people to get up but they managed to get them up with just two people due to their skill and the low winds.
The only minor complaint we had with the installation was the office secretary normally calls the day before installers come. An unexpected emergency had the secretary out of the office on Friday 10/5 so we were unaware of the installation on Saturday untill we suddenly awoke at 8 am to 130 feet of gutters being knocked off the house. Once we determined that they weren't scrap metal scavengers things went well.

We knew we had a leak in our roof, and expected to have to tear off two layers of shingles and put on a new roof. Two companies gave us estimates of $8,000 and $8,800 respectively. Daryl, from Good's Roofing, came over, inspected the roof and said we needed to repair it, not replace it. He was thorough, explained the work that had to be done and the time frame needed. The total, including veteran's discount and senior citizen discount, was under $1,000. Jason came to do the work the following Monday, showed my wife what was to be done, explained the process and had the job finished by midday. He did a great job matching the older shingles and cleaned up wen the job was done. Daryl even warranted the work for five years. Everyone in company we came into contact with, including Michelle at the office, was pleasant, eager to help and responsive to our needs. We'll contact Good's when this roof really DOES need to be replaced.
