Bundschuh landscape does a phenomenal job! John and Adrian are very professional and put their heart into their work. Each design is so unique and personal. They are upfront and honest about the process from the beginning and ensure satisfaction with the finished design. Their staff is very friendly and easy to work with as well as professional. I would definitely recommend them for any landscaping needs!

John Bundschuh and his son, Adrian provided a phenomenal service! We needed to remove a lot of weedy trees, trim a lot of wayward Hawthorn trees and plant about 15 or so large trees and half a dozen fruit trees around the landscape. We have 10 acres so it was a lot of work, but the end result is great and we are very pleased. John Bundschuh popped by to do a follow up a few months later (very conscientious of him) and was pleased that everything was looking great. We have some landscaping that needs to be done around the large pond next Spring so will be requesting their services once again. We definitely recommend Bundschuh Landscape Center due to their quality of work and exceptional product. We love all our new trees!

He took out the old patio which was concrete we had it designed so it would cover the same area the old patio did. He just cut that down by about a third. He didn’t even put a walkway from the patio to the gate at the fence. There was a side walk there he took that out and he left it. When I complained he come out with 8 inch squares which had a good ten inches between them and laid them on top of the sand. My husband did a lot of adding to what he had done. We were upset about it. For the landscaping he hired two Germans who didn’t know how to speak English. I wanted trees removed and fixed to the house. He refused to do what I asked him to do. I asked him to take out the apple tree and when I came home it was still there. Finally I had to tell him that I hired him to take that out and I want it out of there. The way it was growing it was over our side walk so I wanted it moved and another tree put in. He wasn’t happy about that.  He tried cheating us and everybody he could. The foreigners he employed he used to pay them cash in the back yard. It was a long time ago but I can tell you he’s not doing any better now.

They went over budget by 25000.00 after only doing some of the retaining walls.

Refused to finish project without prepaying for the remainder.

The quality of the trees was excellent.  The problem came when they were to be planted.  We purchased 4 blue spruce trees to be planted in a semi-wooded area on out property.  I requested that the owner stopy by to verify their placement prior to planting as we were making a $1000.00 purchase and I wanted to be sure.  He never stopped by and instead sent a crew to plant the trees where we had marked them.  Upon my return home, I was concerned that 2 of the trees were planted too close together.  I again spoke to the owner, he finally stopped by several weeks later and proceeded to tell me that the trees would not survive where they were planted as they would not be getting enought sunlight and rain water and that he was going to charge me anoth $85.00 per tree ($340.00) total to replant them.  I had already paid once to have the trees planted, requested his placment adiv ce at my home PRIOR to planting and do not feel it was fair to have to pay twice for the same service.  I highly recommend the quality of their stock, but their customer service and follow through is very poor.  I would not hire them again.

Gave us a timely and accurate estimate.  Began the job within the time frame given.  Worked every day all day except Sunday and one rain day until completed.  Contractor worked with his employees every day so there was onsite supervision.  Contractor and employees were polite and pleasant.  Patio and landscaping is as planned and very nice.

They were pretty good except for the last thing that they did. They put in a new culvert and it didn't line up right, but otherwise the rest of the construction of the driveway was very good

I called Bundschuh landscaping and asked if they had a garden mix soil for my raised bed garden that I was making. The girl on the phone was very polite and helpful. She said they did and they could deliver it right away since they would be tied up the rest of the afternoon. I said that would be great but I wasn't home. They said that would be no problem. They would take my credit card over the phone and deliver it to my house that morning. I gave them my address and told the girl to tell them to make sure they checked the street address since the street next to mine was somewhat similiar. She said no problem and that was that. When I got home there was no dirt so I called them to ask when the dirt was coming only to find out they already delivered it. Again, the girl on the phone was very nice and apologized. The address was rechecked and was written down correctly but they had to track down the dirt. That was around 12:00. At 3:00 I still hadn't heard anything so I called them back. I spoke with the owner and he, non-apologetically said the dirt was coming soon.  I was actually expecting him to say he was SORRY for the mix up and the delay since I waited all afternoon now to make sure the dirt came to the right house. Not a word. That was all it took to make me know I will not be dealing with them again. They need to learn what customer service is all about. A discount in the delivery fee would have been the right thing to do also.
