Description of Work: Door was installed and balanced great..however the installer has zero social skills.came to my house barking orders that the rough opening wasn't correct,after cutting more lumber and trying to get it how he wanted it (and him telling me to hurry up)I came out when the job was done and wouldn't you know he was totally wrong and didn't need the extra 2x12 he had me cut and put up . the guy was a jerk! He was p***** because I bought my door from Menards and not him! He told me"if it's a cheap door Im not putting it up" I'm mad at myself for putting up with his crap, but winter was here and there was NO garage door only a tarp.I would never use them again!!!

 + 0 moreI called at 8 a.m., spoke to the owner. He said a technician could come out same day. I asked for after 1:00. John arrived at 1:10. He replaced the cable. Also performed an extensive check of both garage doors and instructed me how to extend the life of our doors with proper maintenance, etc. He was very professional; in and out in less than an hour. Door works great. I would definitely use this provider again for any future garage door needs.
Description of Work: Replaced broken cable on double garage door.

 + -1 moreGary Hamilton came out to our house within an hour of us calling him. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and efficient !!! The spring was replaced and working within 30 minutes. We have called Gary in the past for other repairs and his work is always above and beyond what we have received from other companies. You don't have to worry about him overcharging you for his services. Highly recommend!

Now I moved into a house and had him come by to make sure the door was in tip top shape. He did a great job once again. I plan on getting more work to the garage done soon and will definitely be hiring him.
Description of Work: Came to my new house and went over my garage door, tuned it up good so it would run smoothly. Hooked me up with a keypad and some extra remotes.

 + -1 moreSee above for details. I did not hear from the company and I will never use them again. They are not an honorable company. I will tell anyone who asks about my experience.
Description of Work: On 12/20/2012 company replaced a broken garage door spring and charged $130.00. On 8/14/2013 company was called back out because the spring they replaced in 2012 broke and we asked for a replacement. John came out and replaced the spring and called Mark, the owner to inform him it was a justified replacement spring for work done in 2012. They advertise in the yellow pages a five year warranty on their products. Mark would not honor the warranty on the product and I was given a bill for $130.00. Over the phone, I protested to Mark the charge and he offered me a $20.00 discount after telling me that the actual service charge should have been $150 and that as a result he was already charging me less so I should be satisfied with the bill. After arguing my case about the warranty he offered me another $20 off the bill. I told him I would give him $100 and report him to Angie's list.

 + -1 morecalled them they were out in about 2 hours and the tech found the problem in about 5 minutes and explained the problem showed us the bad bearing and put a new one on. it took less than 45 minutes. he did not make a mess and was very professional and nice.

 + -1 moreContacted the company and was told someone would be out the next morning. Received a phone call letting me know when someone would be out. John arrived and told me that he would be able to repair the door when all other companies said that it was not possible or would cost as much as a new door. Scheduled the repair for the next day and John showed up to start the repair. Door was in bad shape with dents and braces that had broken when the door came down and did not go back up when it hit a bike. Dents were removed, braces were replaced, door was re enforced and works better then it did new. I would highly recommend this company. Did excellent work. Could not be happier.

 + 0 moreI called several garage door companies in my areas and was either quoted a ridiculous price or was told it would be a couple days or given attitude, but when I called Budget Garage Door, he came right out that same day, actually only an hour after I called, he fixed everything up and now the door is better than ever. It goes up and down with no problems and doesn't make any crazy bad sounds anymore. He was very fast yet thorough. He also went beyond just fixing the problem and checked out a bunch of other things and made sure everything was at 100%. Mark was very nice and easy to talk to and work with. I have dealt with several garage door companies before and have never had services as good as this one. Budget Garage Door now has me as a customer for life!
Description of Work: My garage door got stuck and would not open or close and got all crooked. Budget Garage Door came and fixed it the same day that I called them. He repaired the cable that came off the drum. While he was there he also did a full tune up on the garage door for me, oiled up a bunch of parts, checked the rollers, and fixed a couple other things.
