"Please accept our apologies for the unpleasant experience you recently had with our company. We offer no excuses for the treatment you received and will be returning your check for the service fee to you when you pick up your key. We very much appreciate the way you handled yourself throughout this experience and it is our wish to someday be of service to you."
"We arrived at the service location at 8:29 for an appointment scheduled in an 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. window on 5/17/18 to install owner supplied kitchen sink including faucet, two lavatory sinks and shut-offs. All of these items to be installed were used and were purchased from Craig's List. We do not warranty owner supplied equipment and we make our clients aware of that. The job was completed at 1:19 p.m. The service fee of $69 was waived. You signed indicating that the work had been performed to your satisfaction. Our office contacted you on 5/22/18 to follow up on the work and we were told that you were happy with the service. You mentioned that one of the handles on the older sink does not turn right. You were told that we'd make the technician aware of that and when he came back to perform the other work for you he'd look at the faucet as well. On June 6 we returned to the service location to complete other work. At that time the problem with the faucet and the placement of the kitchen sink was discussed. The problem with the faucet had nothing to do with the work we performed, the used faucet was defective. The technician reminded the client that we do not warranty used owner supplied items. In regards to the installation of the sink, the technician advised you that at the time of the installation there had been no instructions, neither written or verbal given to install the sink in a different location. Without instructions to the contrary installations are done in the same area of the prior item being replaced. This had been set up as a service call to perform more work. After the discussion regarding the installation of the sink and the problem with the faucet you advised the technician that you were done with us and that you'd dispute the charges with your credit card company so per your request we left the premises. The service fee was waived. As you are aware, your credit card company declined your request to dispute the charges for the service we provided. The mention of the plumbing permit had to do with work that involved installing service valves and completing plumbing hook up for a tankless water heater. We informed you that we were not able to do that work for you without getting a permit. Plumbing permits are not required for the work we performed for you on May 17. We have been proud to serve this community for almost 30 years and we offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. We do not charge for estimates, however, most of the service requests we receive can be handled as a service call. Required permits are always obtained. The cost of the job is always provided prior to any work being performed. Our plumbers are trained professionals and backgrounds are checked. We are insured and bonded."
"Thank you so much for the kind review. We take pride in the knowledge and professionalism of our technicians and their expertise to provide our clients with options and solutions. We know your time is valuable and our goal is to schedule appointments promptly with ease. It's our pleasure to be of service to you and your family for all your plumbing, heating and AC needs."
"We regularly call our clients following service to make sure they were happy and that the repair was done to their satisfaction. It's unfortunate we did not hear from you following the message we left on November 1 after the October 31 service. We were disappointed to get your review today and if you will please send us a picture of the damage we will contact you once we have reviewed it. We have been in business for over 30 years and leaving your home in as good or better condition after our service is extremely important to us. We take precautions to make sure your property is protected throughout our visit, that is why our technicians wear shoe covers and we use a red carpet protector for your floors."
"Thank you for taking the time to complete a review. We regret that we weren't made aware of the situation sooner so that we would have been able to address your concerns. Our service call was on Saturday, 3/15/14 scheduled between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM, in Emergency Service and the fee is $129. Our standard plumbing service fee during normal business hours is $69. On 3/17/14 we were notified that the toilet was leaking and scheduled an appointment to return to the home on 3/19/14. The leak was at the supply line and we replaced this at [Member Information Removed] charge even though this leak was not related to the initial service call. On 3/24/14 we called you to make sure you were happy with the service. You stated that you had not been back to the home since our last service but that you would be going the coming weekend. We asked that you please let us know if there were any problems or concerns. It's difficult to address the $60 charge of another plumber without details as to what the problem was. If it was a problem with our work during the warranty period there would not have been a charge. If you will provide me with a copy of the invoice I would be happy to refund your $60 for the repair if the work was performed during the warranty period. We stand behind our work, as we have for the last 27 years. We offer a 2 year warranty period on all repairs and will work with the client until they are 100% satisfied."
I do need to comment on the price though. All-Pro has a pricing rubric they use - they don't bill by the hour or for parts. This is good in that they can quote you a price up front and don't wind up taking longer then they thought and then billing you more. However in my case the price seemed quite excessive. Their plumbing rubric had about ten "levels" of jobs; each higher level had a higher price. Replacing a closet flange fell in level "8" which cost $569. All-pro also charged me separately for removing and reinstalling the stool: $269. I'm not sure how they would replace a closet flange without removing and reinstalling the stool but he told me it was a separate job, a separate bill.
I didn't shop around; All-Pro is based just around the corner from my house and I love to support local businesses whenever possible. So maybe this price is in line with competitors. However the tech was working for about 75 minutes which, ignoring the small cost of parts, works out to $670 per hour. Which is just a little hard to swallow.
All-Pro also charges a $50 service fee just for coming and giving you an estimate. They waived this fee in my case, because I was a very short drive, because I was using their service, and maybe because I whined a little about the cost. But if you had to pay that too it would raise the price further.
Since they have this "StraightForward Pricing®" rubric you should be able to find out what a job would cost without having to have someone come out. For example, one of the other jobs I was contemplating was replacing a tub faucet. That's a level 3 job, $175. It's right there on the form. So I would encourage prospective customers to push them to give you a quote over the phone, if you know exactly what you need. Maybe they'll say no, but it's worth a shot. If it fits the budget I'd recommend All-Pro, at least for plumbing work.
I know All-Pro reads the reviews on this site and I want them to notice I did check the "yes" when asked "Would you use this provider in the future?" -- and I hope they'll agree this review was fair and truthful.
"Thank you for taking the time to review our company. We are happy to hear that you were satisfied with our service and we appreciate your support of local businesses. As you mentioned, we come to our client's homes with fully stocked trucks and in most cases are able to diagnose the problem and make the repair in one visit. The service fee charged is to cover the cost of sending this skilled technician and fully stocked truck to your home. Since cost is an important part of the decision making process we always give our clients the Straight Forward Price with any options before we begin the work. It has been our experience that quotes given over the phone are usually estimates and this is not fair to the client or to us. We do not operate that way, once the quote is given, we stand by the price. We are happy to provide free estimates for things such as tankless water heater installation, house repiping, sewer lines and boring water service to name a few."
"Thank you for the nice review, we appreciate it greatly! We are happy to be of service to you and your family for all your plumbing, heating, and AC needs."
Also the scheduler was excellent. She kept me informed and did not waste my time.
"Thank you so much for the nice review. We take pride in the knowledge and professionalism of our technicians and their abilities to provide our clients with options and suggestions. We know your time is valuable and our goal is to schedule appointments promptly with ease. We are happy to be of service to you and your family for all your plumbing, heating, and AC needs."
"Our service call was done on June 23, 2014. We were called to the home because of a leaking toilet that was leaking through the ceiling. The client did mention at that time that it had been repaired several times by others. The prior repairs were not done by us. After diagnosing the situation the technician recommended a new toilet, and he also gave an option of pulling, resetting and resealing the existing toilet and inspecting the flange. The option of repairing the existing toilet was chosen. On Tuesday 7/24/14 at 4:46 PM we received a call back that the toilet was leaking again and scheduled a service call for Saturday June 25 between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM due to the fact the client had a second toilet in the home. That call was cancelled by the client and we did not hear back from them until November 20, 2014 following a visit to the home for the technician to flush their water heater. After hearing they were unhappy with the service we sent them a letter and a $50 gift certificate for them to use on any future repair. In the letter it does state that we “held a training review program based on their specific case”. The result of the training program was to clearly communicate recommendation to the client. It’s unfortunate that we were not given the opportunity to rectify the situation ourselves. We do stand behind our work and our 100% satisfaction guarantee, as we have shown since we have offered several services for the client since 12/17/11 and have also done the annual sediment flush on the warranty water heater. I have tried to contact the client to find out what the other service technician did to resolve the issue without any response"
"The service call referenced in this review was done on March 10, 2014. Our service fee is $69 and we tell our clients up front about the service fee and that it is charged for sending the technician to the home and is in addition to the cost of repairs. Three options were given to correct the problem. Option 3 was chosen and the form was initialed indicating this was the service desired. We performed the work as requested. After the work was performed the form was initialed that you were satisfied with the work. It is unfortunate that payment was stopped on your check and that in spite of a court judgement in our favor we have not received any payment for the work we performed. We are sorry we had to notify you on May 20, 2015 with the intent to apply a mechanical lien, however, you have left us no other choice."
"Thank you for the nice review, we appreciate it greatly! We are happy to be of service to you and your family for all your plumbing, heating, and AC needs"
"Thank you for taking the time to review our company. Being professional, punctual and available to serve our clients is extremely important to us and we appreciate the recognition. We look forward to serving you in the future."
"Thank you for taking the time to consider letting us be of service. I sincerely regret that your immediate plans changed and we didn’t have the opportunity to provide you with our most outstanding service. We are continually improving and striving to achieve excellence. We have been fortunate to serve many happy clients, and it is our wish to someday be of service to you. We apologize for the misunderstanding regarding the cost and we did contact Angie’s List to discuss this. We hope they were able to address your concerns about The Big Deal you purchased."
Two months later the new well was installed so I called and asked them to flush out the heater. They said it would cost $199.00
plus a $69.00 service charge. I was very upset since this heater is under warranty. Had them come out and they did flush the
heater; but after it sat for 4 months it had caused a lot of problems with corrosion. The anode rod was shot and was creating
a lot of smelly hot water. I was told that if I had a licensed plumber (other than All Pro) I would loose my warranty on the heater.
This was the first house I ever bought and didn't know much about plumbing; so I trusted All Pro. I will not do anymore business
with this company and quite frankly I don't know how they stay in business with high prices and the manufacturer- Bradford and
White are not customer friendly either. Be careful what you sign-up for; I learned the hard way.
"The hot water heater was installed on June 25, the technician arrived at 11:49 a.m. and completed the job at 3:17 p.m. total time of approximately 3 ½ hours. A service call had been set up on August 18 per your request to have the water heater drained and flushed and the technician advised you at that time that flushing the water heater of the old well water was not a warranty item and that there would be a charge to perform the flush. At that time you chose not to have the service performed. On October 16 you contacted our office and set up an appointment for October 20 to have the hot water heater drained and flushed. We did advise you again that this was not a warranty item and there would be a charge to perform the service. Your hot water heater is fully warrantied against manufacture defects and your warranty includes one annual flush, the first 11 – 12 months after the installation, and then annually for 6 years. We will contact you on an annual basis to schedule your free warranty water heater flush."
I had another HVAC business come to do a cleaning maintenance on the furnace before winter sets in.
He discovered a number of issues with the work performed by All Pro when they replaced the heat exchanger last winter. He has been working on the unit for a couple of hours fixing the burners and replacing components that have fail because they were improperly installed.
They suspended the furnace last May so that I could seal the crawl space floor. I explained that it only needed to be temporary and could be reset onto the floor after the membrane was installed. I explained that I was concerned that if it remained suspended that it would make the floor vibrate when the blower was running. They assured me that this is commonly done and have had no problems with suspending these units. Unfortunately that is not the case. The floor distinctly vibrates each time the furnace comes on. They also installed the exhaust pipe with a downward slope and now water is leaking from the pipe all over the floor.
Very poor quality work at best and at extremely high prices.
"We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee and we stand behind our work. Please contact our office and provide us with the written diagnosis from the service company regarding the above mentioned issues. As you recall, due to the condition and age of the unit referenced, replacement was recommended and in your best interest."
"We appreciate you taking the time to complete the nice review."
$69 just to show up and an additional $488 just to climb up the ladder. We paid over $900 to replace 4 items. Had we called another company, we would have paid a few hundred dollars more to replace the entire water heater. They quoted $2,400 to replace a low-boy electric water heater. Other companies quote $960 to $1,100.
Then we paid $99 to service the A/C and they tried to up sell with an addition $240 package we supposedly needed. Should have told them to walk when they gave us the initial price, but we were short on time. It wasn't until I started researching the pricing did I realize how much they overcharged.
Bottom line: Call someone else.
"I wanted to address your concern about the cost of your recent service. Your satisfaction and my firm’s reputation with you are of great importance to me. Since cost is an important part of the decision making process we always give our clients the Straight Forward Price with any options before we begin the work. [removed member name] chose to proceed with the rebuild option. After the technician was more than half finished with the job [removed member name] called the office asking to speak to the supervisor who was out of the office. A message was left on her voice mail letting her know that the supervisor would return her call as soon as he was available. When he returned her call there was no answer and he left her a message. We did not receive a return call. It has been our experience that quotes given over the phone are usually estimates. Since this installation was not standard it is very likely that the actual cost of the job would have been much more once the company giving the quote over the phone was actually on the job. We do not operate that way, once the quote is given, we stand by the price. Our price for a new hot water heater included an 8 year warranty on parts and labor and an annual sediment flush which extends both the life of the unit and the efficiency. The option offered for the air conditioner is offered to clients due to age of the unit. It is helpful in extending the life of the compressor and reduces wear and tear on the unit. Being professional, punctual and available to serve our clients is extremely important to us. We arrived approximately an hour and a half ahead of schedule and were on the job for three hours. The cost of the work was given up front with options. Our technicians do not pressure our clients but we do provide options and the choice whether or not to proceed and which options to include, if any, is always theirs. I am fully aware that you could have had a “handy man” or perhaps another plumber service your water heater for less money. Would you be able to reach this person for help if you had an emergency? Would this person be licensed, insured and bonded? Would this person be drug-free? Would you trust this person in your home? If this explanation does not convince you of the value of our services, please call me at 269-695-2402 and I will be happy to discuss this with you. Thank you for using our company!"

"Thank you for taking the time to review our business. We appreciate the fact that the cost of a repair is important and that is why our technicians always provide the cost of a repair before any work is done. Once our price is quoted, we stand behind that price and we also provide our clients with a 100% satisfaction guarantee. We provide warranties on most all repairs and we stand behind them."
"Thank you for taking the time to review our service. We would like to address your concern regarding the need for a second day to complete the job. When we book calls it is always with the intention to complete the job in one service call. In this case on October 24 the initial service call was to uninstall, move and reinstall a dishwasher. It was noted that when the prior owners remodeled the home they put a dishwasher in and that there was other plumbing behind it and the dishwasher did not fit well. An hour to an hour and a half is the usual time allotted for this type of call. Once the technician arrived on the job and evaluated the situation it became clear that this would not be able to be completed in the allotted time and that two technicians would be needed for the job. Since we had other commitments on the schedule that day, we were unable to complete the job. We sincerely regret that we were unable to solve your problem on the first visit and to compensate for the inconvenience we did arranged for a technician to return on October 29 at 6:00 to repair an ice maker line at no additional charge. Normally calls scheduled 6:00 or after are considered after hours/emergency service and the service call fee is $129."
