As a walk-in customer (did not realize the business was primarily "by appointment") we had to wait a little while to be serviced - not a problem. She took care of us, took the measurements, etc, was seemingly very kind. We signed the rental agreement, made out the check and left. We came back later to look at a particular necklace for my daughter, this time. Again we had to wait to get assistance - not a problem. But since we had to wait, there were only a few minutes left before closing. I'd asked if my daughter could slip her dress on real quick so I could look at the necklace against the material and she snapped that she did not have time for that because she leaves at exactly 6PM. I felt insulted and hurt. This was a $100 necklace I was looking at. Granted, the dress wasn't rented from here, but the purchase of th enecklace I thought would warrant a few extra minutes of her time, apparently not. I could not forget how I'd been trreated that day so that evening I sent her an email and explained that I was not happy with the way I'd been treated. I was not rude or bitter in my email. She responded without an apology, stating that "she did not recall me making an appointment," and told me that I should let her know if I still want the tux we'd rented. I mailed back and told that I DO still want the tux, but because she did not even bother to apologize I would not be doing business after this transaction. The Owner emailed back and told me that she was NOT going to order the tux I'd already paid for and that I had 5-days to pick up my check or she'll shred it. The owner basically chose not to fulfill my paid order because of a personality conflict. I was hurt that she didn't have a few minutes of time for me when I'd waited so long just to even speak to her, and I was further upset that she showed no remorse... then to add insult to injury she cancelled my order and is forcing me to go somewhere else and spend additional time resizing for another tuxedo. I've spoken with others who've used this company and many had similar stories, one sheid that she told them "if you didn't buy it here, you don't try it here."
