I dealt with Mike and Matt. After some discussion on the type of pads, the estimate was written up and I accepted it. There were a few mis-steps with their supplier, but both Mike and Matt set me up with a complimentary rental car. Although it took a little longer, I would recommend them as they sincerely were interested in customer service.

Repair was done quickly.

We returned to Spartan Tire 3-4 times due to continued squeaking of brakes. Explanation of why the squeaking continued was not clear; parts were eventually replaced but at one time, we were told the warranty 'clock' started with the original repair - by the time the repair was done correctly and the squeaking eliminated, 1/4 of the warranty was over! We spoke to manager who stated the warranty time would be extended to a full year. I would use Spartan again for service on tires but would hesitate for things more major.

I went in to see why I was experiencing vibration at speed. The car is six years old, but has low miles. Basically it turned out the tires, while they had plenty of tread left, were coming apart at the tread. I wanted to buy an American made tire from an American tire which led them to recommend Cooper. They had to order them in but I was able to return the next day and get 4 new tires installed in very little time while I waited. The folks at Spartan are great, you never feel like you are being sold a bill of goods that you don't need. As I sat waiting I heard how they deal with other customers and they treat people honestly and with respect.

They helped me decide the right oil to use on my new vehicle which was in for it's first change. They helped me understand the pros and cons of the various types and grades. They felt that the tires did not need to be rotated because there were not enough miles on them yet and they were not showing any signs of unequal wear.

It was not a good experience. They said they did a radiator flush and the next time I had my oil changed the guy told me that my radiator had not been flushed. I had it done and then I contacted them and it was bad. I will not go back. I had been taking my car there for several years. They were very unprofessional.

We get good service and the prices are reasonable. They are more cost effective than a dealership. They are courteous when you call and when they call with the progress of your vehicles.

Everything has been good. They are extremely thorough.
