I hired this company in September 2023 to replace the roof on my house and garage. I signed a contract stating that it would be started before November 2023. No communication received from them until I asked in mid October when the start date was. I was told the end of the following week or beginning of the next. The project did not start until I asked for a refund just before November 7th. The project started on the 11th of November and was completed on the 13th. Payment was requested before the roof was inspected by the City and myself. I found an area of plywood rot that was not replaced and had been pointed out at the time of the roofing quote. The company returned and fixed this area. The company was paid on November 20th. Upon climbing on the roof to clean the gutters, an exposed nail was discovered partially covered by vent flashing. Additional nail heads were found to be only partially covered with tar. It appeared as if someone walked along with a caulk gun and dabbed the nail with caulk and did not spread it out. I requested a return to fix the issue and received a text on 11/30/23 that someone would be out on December 4th to fix the problem. As of 12/18/23, I reached out to the company and I am supposed to have someone out on 12/19/23 to fix the issues. The guys I have met and spoken with in person, by text or by phone are nice. Communication is a major issue that I have experienced as well as poor oversite by management of the project to ensure that things are done correctly and not missed. The project should not require constant status update requests on my end nor should I have to be a roofing expert to ensure that it is done properly. Overall disappointed with this company.
