Insurance Agencies
My auto insurance was raised by about $200 with 2 changes done without my knowledge. Jewelry insured must stay in my safe at all times or they raise the rate on that, too. Who does not ever wear their jewelry? I switched to the Hartford through AARP, paid one price for a whole year, not six months. The Hartford has been very honest and assures me their rate, about half of Allstate's does not change in that year. My refund on auto cancellation was less than half of what I paid after less than 2 months. An expensive awful lesson learned from dealing with a dishonest agency.
