Water Softener Service
Was told my system was shot and I needed to purchase new. Was given a $5,000 option and $7,000 option. After technician left I hooked softener back up and it started working fine. Called CGC next morning and was told that my venturi was clogged that was the reason it quit working. Should be fine just keep an eye on it. The whole process felt like a sales pitch to encourage me to buy a new $7,000 softener when in fact mine was repairable. Only learned mine could be repaired or replaced for $1500 when I called the next day and requested more info.
