We are content with the cost we pay there. I have always been very happy with the care and professionalism I get there.
They have always been responsive. When we go in, we get taken care of quite quickly.

See Above.  By the way, I have four cats who are regularly "vetted" and I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I prefer to see Dr. Aubrey--but have not been Unhappy with any of the drs.  As we all know the price of care is sometimes shocking, but I feel this clinic will do its best to work with you unlike others who start to hit the calculator the minute you enter the door.

The visit went very well. All issues were addressed. The visit was not rushed. The cats were very comfortable during and after their visit.

We have visited this vet practice several times in the last month for both our cat and dog. The details above pertain to the first dog visit.
During the course of the exam, they discovered an ear infection, which required an ear cleaning, medication and later follow ups. They administered several vaccinations. They were very loving and patient with our dog. We also purchased a supply of Heartgard and Frontline.
We also later visited with our cat. They had several suggestions for a behavior issue. They gave her a thorough annual exam and discussed vaccinations with us. Our cat is much trickier to examine than the dog,but they did a great job of giving her personal space and keeping her calm.
I am very impressed with the doctors at Brighton Animal Hospital. Very professional and caring. I would highly recommend them.

We have used them for the last two or three dogs we have had, since we moved into this area. Just recently we had just gone in to pick up the medicine that we give our Maltese once a month for flees, etc. What they charge me depends on what I am having done, like I had her teeth cleaned and the total amount there was like $300 because they had to give her some medicine to put her to sleep so that she would not attack them or bite them. We take her in for all of her shots, her rabies shots, they always do blood work and stool samples and she gets the vaccines, the Lepto and Norditalia, and so she gets all of those checks every time. Everything has been good about them, by the fact that we have kept this facility and the same doctor. We have a specific doctor there that we go to each time. We are very pleased with their facility and their ability. The doctor we go to is Dr. Kathy Lawrence. She is excellent and we have had her for both dogs. Our other dog was also a Maltese that we had prior to this one. This one we bought eight weeks old and she just turned five in June. So we have had her for five years. The last Maltese that we had developed cancer. We went through a cancer program with Dr. Lawrence. We had to actually go through the cancer center. We got her in remission; it was quite expensive to do that because they gave her chemotherapy the same as humans get. When it redeveloped a year later they said that there is not much they could do, so we took her in to the hospital to have her put to sleep. They were just excellent. They provided us with a separate room where we could spend some time with her alone and they gave her a shot first of all to just relax her and then they gave her another one that did actually just put her to sleep. After she was asleep then they gave her the one that stopped her heart. They handled everything having her cremated and we have her ashes in a beautiful wooden oak box there with her nameplate on it. In every category I would have to rate Brighton Animal Hospital with "A's" all the way through. There is not a thing that I could think of that would be even a "B." We would not use anything else other than them and continue to use Dr. Kathy Lawrence as her doctor.

We have the most wonderful vet in the world. They were absolutely wonderful. My one dog started out with the cancer and they took care of him. He then had another cancer and had a lot of health issues. They gave him laser treatment for his legs. We can always get in right away. They were loving and kind. They charge $40-$45 for their six months physical.

The staff at Brighton Animal Hospital is very caring and professional. We have been taking our cats and dogs for approximately 5 years. After trying three other local vets, we are very happy to have found Brighton Animal Hospital - especially Dr. Aubrey.

I brought my cat in four times. They've given me misinformation and after paying them $500, they aren't able to help. The vet gives me different information than what the front desk tells me. They don't seem to know what the problem is.

The vet, Dr. Lee has been working with me on Sadie's health problem,  Today she called in 2 prescriptions to Banfield for Sadie and she is eating her Rx food while boarding in Farmington at Backdoor Friends.

UPDATE : See above.

They were a lot cheaper than my other vet that I use to go to. Dr. Clark is very gentle and has a good bedside manner. He's good-natured and down to earth. He's very knowledgeable about the type of dog I have. He made recommendations to take her to obedient school. The staff is very nice. They have a nice area for the dogs to do their business before they go in.

Most recently, I brought a new cat in for checkup and to look for any urinary tract issues. The tests went well, the vet's communications and instructions were clear, and the experience was as positive as all of the others I have had there over the course of three years.

Since the doctor admitted she had never seen this condition and with the extreme treatment she initially suggested, we felt very little confidence in her ability. We were fully ready to take Rocky to another clinic. If she had asked another of the available vets for an opinion or mentioned that perhaps someone else might better understand the problem, we would have felt more secure. Only when she mentioned that a quiet afternoon with sedation and observation wouldn't hurt - and may help - did we agree to leave Rocky. After an afternoon of expecting the worse, a few tears, and general emotional upheaval, we picked up our sleepy dog. We used the sedatives and antibiotics for the 3 days suggested, returned the sample the next day and were told he didn't have any parasites. He is back to normal: adorable, loving and still energetic. I would NOT go back to the Brighton Animal Hospital, even though it is the most conveniently located. I intend to find a vet who will not jump to conclusions or the most expedient treatment when he/she is out of their realm of expertise.

Response from Brighton Animal Hospital
"In the interest of client/patient privacy, I will try to describe in the most general terms possible how something like this is approached. The condition described, rectal prolapse, is quite rare, except in newborn pets, without a history of chronic diarrhea or other cause of straining. It is a straight forward diagnosis on exam. Rectal prolapse frequently recurs without surgical correction. All doctors on our staff consult freely with each other on unusual cases, as was done here. Our standard of care is to offer referral to a specialist for uncommon conditions. When this is declined by a client, we offer our best effort to provide comfort and a chance of recovery. We carefully document all procedures offered and declined. We are very pleased that such conservative measures allowed this pet to recover. If the condition had repeated, surgery would have been his only choice and total cost would have been higher for having tried another method first. We wish you had been happier with your visit but are glad that Rocky is doing better."

For the 10 year that we visited them, alll of the staff was very courteous, professional, prompt. Every doctor and assistant did an outstanding job. I especially liked Dr. Lee - she was extremely helpful and patient when we had questions (including phone conversations between our office visits). Brighton Animal Hospital made one of the most difficult situations (the last month) as comfortable as possilbe. I highly recommend them.

I've always had a pleasant experience with them. Everyone (counter staff, vet techs, veterinarians) has always been exceptionally nice and helpful. I had at least two different veterinarians and they were both sooooo nice and compassionate and helpful.
