1-800 Water Damage

They did a good job, very pleasant dealing with the owner. I have no complain.

1 800 Water Damage has completed their portion of the work on the house and the contractor is busy getting our house back to a livable condition. We have no complaints with the work or the teams doing it.

Mac handled everything like the pro that he is. He was patient with all my questions and concerns. Since this was an insurance claim, I had the extra task of needing to provide documentation to my mortgage company for payout, Jennifer was the absolute best. She helped every step of the way. They both made an extremely stressful situation bareable. I can’t thank them enough.

The team from 1-800 Water Damage was extremely professional and thorough. They did the work as outlined in the contract and spent the necessary time to make sure the job was completed to expectations. The team was courteous and answered all my questions. I had some additional questions a few weeks after the job was completed and the response was prompt. I was very satisfied with their work.

The remediation for the water damage went well. My only complaint is with the carpet repair company they suggested to me. They were extremely overpriced for what needed to be done. I highly suggest hiring Lowe's or Home Depot if you need padding or stretching of carpet done like I needed.

Keith came out was professional and knowledgeable. Told me what they would do to improve/correct it. The crew (Justin & Luke) came out and did the work in a timely manner. They also were knowledgeable and completed the job to my liking. I was 100% satisfied and would use them again

The owner of the company came out within an hour of our plumber's call to him about our mold problem - very responsive. He gave us a detailed description of what he thought the problem was and how his company would fix it. When the remediation team came to our house a couple days later, they did exactly what was expected per what the owner suggested was the extent of the problem - cut drywall out, remove it safely from the rooms, clean up any residual mold, roll back the carpet and look for water damage on that, bag off the area, and filter and dry area. Justin led the team. He was extremely thorough, professional, knowledgable, and personable. He came back nearly every day for a week to make sure every thing was drying out as it should. He explained to me what was going on every step of the way. This company was wonderful to work with. Highly recommend them.

Fred and the 1-800-Water Damage Team delivered on everything they committed at the beginning of the project. Explained every step of the project. Realized the devastating loss for our family and showed great compassion and concern through the whole project. Took a personal interest in our loss and situation. Everyone who has come in the home has remarked at how well the 1-800-Water Damage Team treated my home. A++ on their work! I put "N/A" on the price as All State has not yet finished their review of the structure and I have no expertise in the cost of this service.

Keith arrived on time, looked at the attic and quickly concluded that there was no mold present. He didn't charge us anything to provide the documentation the inspector needed, saving us a good deal of money and hassle.

The person that came to like help us was very, he seemed very professional and courteous and seemed like he wanted to help and  things like that but the work itself had some issues, the quality of the work from my experience I guess something did kinda go wrong in that. So it was suppose to take maybe two days but it end up taking an extra two or three days because some of the machines stopped working and we did not realize that so the guy was supposed to come back and check or something, I know it was a Friday but because it tripped our electrical we did not realize and we didn't know that some of the machines stopped working, it's like if they had four machines maybe two of them stopped working and it chipped some of the electrical so like door bells didn't work and we didn't realize that. And he didn't really check them much I guess as well as he could have and so when he rang the door bell I guess he was supposed to call he didn't but I guess he rang the door bell but the door bell wasn't working cause it tripped the electrical thing so it wasn't working and some of the machines was not working for couple days and when we realized that time it was Monday. So no other works in preparing a little more damage because when we called it had just happen, like the water damage, they took out the water but then the wood and things need air drying it's very critical in the first few days so that air could dry it up but because some of their machines stopped working for a couple of days our wood cupped, maybe because for the first few days some of their machines didn't work or stopped working. We didn't realize, we didn't know.

They were prompt to the T. Very polite, knowledgeable, extremely professional - even saw me taking trash out and grabbed a can and took it to the road for me! Exceptional communication, exceptional customer service. Job was very well done. The only thing that was difficult was the cost, but this service would have cost the same or more from other providers, with far inferior service.

We had a leak in our downstairs bathroom causing mold that I found on a Saturday evening.  I called and Fred (the owner) got back to me the same day.  His crew came out a few days later (this was my choice, but it wasn't an emergency making them coming over on the weekend for and they were very accommodating with my schedule).  The crew came out, demoed the entire bathroom in two days and got things dried up.  They also dried the upstairs bathroom and made sure that the floor upstairs was sound given the extent of the issue.  All employees were prompt, courteous and cleaned up nicely.  We ended up putting the claim through insurance which went smoothly.
A few days later, I noticed some damage to the window and the drywall in the demo-ed bathroom.  I contacted the owner and he made a point to come out personally to look at the issue since typically his employees tell him first.  Upon seeing the damage, he immediately offered remediation of window replacement and drywall repair.  We're in the process of working that out (I have been out of town for several days - there have not been delays on the company's part) and it should be remedied shortly.
Overall, I would use them again without hesitation if the situation ever came up again (but if all goes well, we won't need to!!!).  Although there were minor problems (which there will be with any job), Fred handled them very professionally and fairly.

1-800 Water Damage was quick to respond and provide services. The water loss occurred on a Saturday morning, and by Monday at 11 AM, the crew had already cleaned the basement and left fans and an industrial dehumidifier to dry it. They left the equipment for 5 days to ensure our basement was bone dry. The cleaning solution they use is thyme oil based, so it is green and not harsh at all. We appreciated their assistance and professionalism, it was very important to have the basement thoroughly cleaned due to the severe asthma and allergies we have. I hope to not have another incident like this, but if we do, we'll definitely call 1-800 Water Damage.
