Animal Grooming
The folks at Bridgman Feed Store and Paws to Wash are compassionate, kind and competent. Our Airedale was groomed there her entire life . . . all ten short years. Airedales tend to be strong willed but they never let her intimidate them. She was bathed and dried and fluffed and loved. And she always came out beautifully groomed.
They were always accommodating about drop-off and pick-up times. Our dog was excited and animated when we'd approach the building and excited and animated when we returned to take her home. She exhibited NO fear factor, confirmation to me that she was treated well, that what we saw on the outside was consistent with care and treatment behind the scenes. When a physical problem crippled my Airedale, the groomer made special accommodations so that we could bring our dog in for care. She didn't have to do that but her level of professionalism (and compassion) dictated otherwise. The last time she was groomed was approximately March 2014. I'll always be grateful for the good care and handling my dog received.
The feed store carries a variety of pet supplies ranging from pet foods, treats, collars, leashes and so forth. There are some specialty items on the shelves as well . . . a treat for your pet, yourself or a gift for a friend. Big town options backed by a home town atmosphere. It's the best of both worlds.
