Great job

Ben and Johnny did a great job painting our master bath, hallways, kitchen, and living room which included high ceilings and crown molding. One wall was added at the end during clean up because tape took off some paint. Somerset had Ben come back out and paint that wall before giving us the bill. Kevin is very knowledgeable as a former contractor in giving an accurate estimate and answering questions.

I had a tight timeline and they were able to get the job done. Whole house interior paint. Looks great.

Painters were quick and “ stayed between the lines”. Got a color consultant for free too! I didn’t believe they would be done in 2 days, but they finished!

As he calls a professional painter, he led me on the wrong direction on what type of paint to use and he used an oil-based primer and it stank. the girl on the house could not move in in the house for 6 weeks, the oil-based primer or paint he used caused her migraines, he cost me money with that because she could not move in. He did not use a drop cloth on the bedroom, there is paint all over the tiles that can not be removed.

This company was prompt to service my project. They arrived on time and did a complete and professional job. The price was competitive. I would use them again. They did a good job of cleaning up after the project was finished.

They don't include the cost of paint in their estimate but are very upfront about this.

I should be honest I used this company to refinish a oak exterior door. They are known for interior and exterior painting. The estimated amount of work actually done did not match. They actually I feel overcharged by quite a bit. They basically did not have the skill set for the job. I ended up finding and using a proper painter with the skill for refinishing our expensive oak door. You learn by experience and we did.

I highly recommend Somerset Painting. Hereâ s why: Our project consisted of two parts: carpentry and paint. We needed to replace about 200 sq.ft. of second level wood siding which had deteriorated over the years. It was not an easy job, because the lower level roof cut across at an angle, so each new panel had to be cut to fit then hauled up and put in place. Also, about 3,000 sq.ft. of wood siding and overhangs on the rest of our house needed painting. Most of the work was completed in one long day, which minimized the disruption. This was through hard work, not cutting corners. Julian and crew were justifiably proud of the end result. The new siding and paint look terrific. Careful prep work meant joint lines that are crisp and clean. In addition, the paint process, which consisted of spray, back-roll, and follow-up spray to blend the painted area, resulted in a very smooth appearance, including under the overhangs. Rick Hartsell, the founder of Somerset Painting, took on our project with just a handshake. A deposit was not required. His confidence that we would be happy upon completion was a deciding factor in our decision to hire them. Our house looks like new.

We recently had Somerset Painting paint the exterior on our 1926 Craftsman Bungalow. We were very impressed by Rick when he came out to quote the job, pointing out many things that others did not. We can also not say enough about the painter assigned to our job Tim Mitrofanov. His attention to detail, care for our property, plantings and execution was stellar, and I would highly recommend him to anyone!

Julian and his team were amazing! He is an artistâ I had almost the entire interior of my home painted. It needed plenty of repairs and problem solving but they got the job done. Everyone who has seen it, including other contractors, are very impressed.
