Very satisfied with multiple projects. Ryan is easy to work with, always has good ideas and suggestions and is very detailed in his work. He's always the first one we think of to call for projects!

Ryan did an amazing job with some finish work in our kitchen. He gave us multiple ideas on the projects letting us choose the ones we preferred, most we hadn’t thought of and loved what he came up with. He was very professional and the work exceeded our expectations. He communicated throughout the job and would even look for ideas on finishing touches at night on his own time. Would highly recommend him and plan on having him back to do more work for us.

Ryan did a fantastic job remodeling my bathroom. From the initial consultation to the final touches, he was professional, courteous, and incredibly skilled. He handled everything—from plumbing and tile work to fixtures and finishes—with great attention to detail. The project was completed on time and within budget, and the quality of his work exceeded my expectations. My new bathroom looks amazing, and I’ve already received so many compliments on it. I have a hard time trusting that when I hire a company for a project- that it meets my expectations. I cannot begin to express the relief I felt to finally meet an honest professional who truly cares about his work. I highly recommend Ryan to anyone looking for quality work that is done right!

Ryan Reitz did an unacceptable job on my drywall work and was dishonest with me. I hired him to mud, tape and sand several rooms. We agreed I would be billed hourly, at a rate of $45/hr at an estimated 20 hours or less over 4 days. Here is a list of the concerns: -I was over billed for the hours worked. At least over an hour and a half that I know of. When I questioned him, he said it was for getting materials, however over an hour and a half (that I can definitively account for, could be more) does not seem reasonable for purchasing standard materials (drywall mud, tape and 3 pieces of corner bead) for a ~20 hour job. Also, he stated materials were included, but never said anything about procuring material. Moreover, he acknowledged that he’s had this complaint from other customers before, yet did not express this until later. I have proof of the hour and half. -Damaged my driveway with a truck that was leaking fuel, something he knew about and did not notify me about until I realized it was his vehicle, which also made the damage worse by letting is sit. Accepted responsibility for the damage and agreed to pay for it until it came time to pay. See attached pictures of, damage and accepting responsibility. -Tried to bill me for repairing areas that were not repaired correctly, only after it came time for him to pay for the damage he caused. He said the job was done when I was build, but after I painted there were (2) visible seems. He apologized and took responsibility for the condition, mentioned other jobs he was saying the same problem (further taking responsibility). After the fact, he tried to claim it was due to a fixture 3’+ away not being removed, which he never once requested that I remove. See photograph “Evidence 1” as evidence. Also took it upon himself to rework another area that was already acceptable to me. All of this rework forced me to repaint parts of ceiling and wall. Another area was near a cabinet, he made the same claim about request I remove the cabinet. See the photo “Evidence 2” for a photo of the cabinet in place with repairs done outside of the area the cabinet was mounted. -Another relevant point, Ryan claimed he worked more than $100 worth of time in making the 2 simple repairs (that cause me more time to repaint), however as the “Evidence 1” and “Evidence 2” photos show, these repairs were very small, and less than 10’ in length. A single coat was applied, and no sanding was done. Any drywall professional could accomplish this task in less than 10 minutes. Another example of his hour embellishment. -“Milked” or overtly extended the job (starting on day 1) by repairing areas that I did not ask to have repaired and did not need to be repaired. Also, blamed the slow pace on weather conditions, rather than him doing bits and pieces at a time (not layers on all areas). -Overshot his “worst case” estimate. I do admit I forgot to show 1 closet that needed work. This was small in the scope of the job, and was negated by me taking responsibility for sanding some of his work myself, which was proposed by him. -Did not start or complete the job on time, due to balancing of other jobs. Worked a few hours for 9 days, when it should have taken closer to 4 as he predicted. -Wasted time on the job having unwanted conversations with me and my family about other contractor’s work (billed me for this time). -Became belligerent when I spoke with him asked him for the reimbursement for the driveway damage and about my concerns. Nearly all of the communication during the project was done via text, and pictures of key texts are included as evidence. Additional text information available upon request. I urge you to find another company to work with, and recommend Kent Woodworth for the Lenawee count and Ann Arbor area.
