"Hello [Member Name Removed], I understand your concerns and would like to express my concerns with your review. My first concern is that you did not contact me at the end of the project two years ago to discuss issues that needed to be addressed. The gap with the granite is an issue for the granite installer and if you would have contacted me at the time, I could have had that taken care of. The backsplash is “janky” as you put it due to the nature of the existing wall, which is 100 year old plaster. As for the cabinets, I had advised against painting them due to their condition. Had you taken the time to complete a final walk through with me and expressed these concerns, they all would have been addressed at the time. Every homeowner also has the option to complete another walk through 9-12 months after the project is completed. This way if you notice something, we can get it taken care of. You did not take advantage of either of these options. I can understand not doing a final walk through immediately at the end of the project if you truly did want us to “just be out of your house” but why not meet with us for a walk through at the 9 to 12 month mark to address the issues? I would also like to state that at no time did I ever “take my business down" off of Google. I did reach out to after you posted your review because I wanted to understand the situation and do my best to remedy the situation. I was a bit shocked by the review. My offer still stands to fix what I can. Please call me at your earliest convenience. Thank you!"
