I thereafter reached an agreement to receive a refund of my deposit, with the legal department, but this failed when an outside attorney was more interested in burdening me with litigation tactics; over a mere $2,500.00 deposit. (It didn't matter that I had previously referred many customers to Crosswinds, for affordable homes. Instead of caring about "goodwill", Bernie Gieberman, the owner, caused me to have to engage in extensive litigation). Further, the attorney was intent on putting me through a nightmare and even though I finally discontinued pursuing it, he later even went so far as to attempt undermine my my interests in an unrelated business matter. The cost in time, stress, anger and aggravation, not to mention the dollar loss, including the original deposit, causes me to want to post this so that others are not subjected to similar unfairness.

THEY WERE AWFUL. THE KIND OF THING YOU WOULD EXPECT FROM CONTRACTORS. THEY WERE ALWAYS BEHIND. THEY WOULD ONLY WORK FOR ONE DAY A WEEK. IT WAS HARD TO GET THEM TO DO ANYTHING. THEY TREATED US LIKE WE WERE STUPID.
