Description of Work: The quote given for a of dirt was not correct. I spoke with someone, who transferred me to someone in management. That did not go well. Based on the management treatment, I would rate New Horizons low. However, the person providing the quote called back and we resolved where a breakdown in communication may have happened. She was a positive in my business transaction. The delivery was on time, as ordered, and the delivery person was great. Management needs a bit of training in customer service, otherwise fine.

 + -1 moreNeedless to say, we went with another landscaping company and were glad we did. Andrew Archer is big on rocks, boulders and inexpensive shade plants (think hostas) and then wants to charge an arm and a leg. We have seen his work in other neighbors' yards and are very, very unimpressed.
Description of Work: We wanted some landscaping done around our home. Andrew Archer came out and drew up some plans/estimate. It was a bit on the expensive side, so we asked for a second estimate but this time we eliminated some of the more costly expenditures he tacked on. Guess what? Mr. Archer's second estimate for LESS work was even more expensive than the first, and he kept adding on things we didn't want done in the first place. We definitely did not see eye-to-eye. This landscaper is very arrogant and headstrong--we felt our wants were being dismissed while corners were being cut.
