It worked out fine and I have used them before. Their price might have been a little above average,but I knew the service I will getting so I was willing to pay it.

Called Big D along with a few other locksmiths and they were on par or better priced than the others and were able to get to our house sooner. I ended up going with them because I wanted to go with the neighborhood locksmith, plus they were extremely polite, professional, and helpful on the phone.
On the day they were to re-key the locks, they were running a little late and called to make sure it wouldn't cause problems. I ended up having to run a time sensitive errand, so they said they would still come as soon as they wrapped up their current job and wait for me if I was still out. When I returned to the house, they were waiting as promised. Once in, I showed them the locks and they confirmed the price we agreed upon via the phone. Within 30 minutes, both doors were re-keyed and I had the additional keys I wanted.
In short, it was very happy with the level of professionalism and communication, and the job was done exactly to my specifications. If I need similar services in the future, I'd just call them!

The locksmith was timely, clean, polite and thorough. He replaced dead bolt locks and door knobs on the front and back doors, replaced a broken lock on the sliding door and replaced door knobs on two interior doors. The front door dead bolt lock had always been out of alignment and he spent the necessary time to assure that the door closed properly and the lock was in total alignment. He also tolerated the frequent barking of my dog.

I am a VERY satisfied customer. I have an old house with a old fashioned mortise lock (with litte buttons on the edge of the door). Other locksmiths said they did not service these old locks, but Big D Lock City said this would be no problem. The technician (Steve) arrived exactly on time and was able to make the lock work very well. I later decided to have them come back and install a bolt lock. He was able to set the lock to match the key of another door in the house, so we could use the same key for both doors. He was courteous and professional and willing to wait while I covered up some items near the door so they did not get saw dust etc. on them. I thought the price was reasonable. I would recommend them without hesitation.

I've used them for a number of years. I use them 3 or 4 times a year for an office building to change locks. They have a good skill level and they are reasonable and quick. They are convenient for me.

The technician was quick, professional and courteous. He performed the service so quickly that it didn't interrupt my day at all, it was great. I thought the service fee of $40 was a little high, but in the end I was very pleased with the service. I would definitely call Big D again when I move into my new home.

They showed up when they said they would. The gentleman that performed the work was professional and polite. I wanted to have one key for all three locks but he explained that one doors lock set was too different and we'd have to change the locks on that door, which would have added more expense to the project.

His suggestion was to just have two keys for the house. It made the most sense so that's what I did.

He made copies of my new key sets in his van. Everything has worked great.

As an aside. I've had duplicate keys made in their store. They work very fast and the keys always work perfectly. They even had a blank key for my motorcycle, which is hard to find at a hardware store.

They re-keyed all three locks to the same key within 15 minutes and charged a very reasonable price of $6.50 per lock and $1.50 per key. We will definitely be using them again. FYI: They also have in their store (a former gas station) a variety of locks and door hardware for sale.
