Joe was fantastic! He saved us. Work is all of the highest quality - no shortcuts and no excuses. He is punctual, thorough and explains all of his work in detail BEFORE he starts. If you want the best at a good value, hire Joe!

Joe was professional and paid attention to every detail including a very good cleanup at the end. Joe came in at his estimate and the new siding and house look fantastic!
I gave price a B only because Joe Zapata will be a bit more expensive than other siding contractors... but if you want a quality job it is worth every penny.

This job was completed in the dead of winter so rain and snowfall was common. Bitter cold weather delayed this projects completion as did heavy snowfall. This was in no way the fault of the provider. I felt the provider had my job as his priority. He answered phone calls quickly and responded to messages within minutes.
The installation appears to be very professional. Joe Zapata was instrumental in doing the actual work. i.e. I hired Joe and HE showed up along with an assistant.
When problems were discovered during the removal of the old siding I felt the remedy/solution was very fair. I never felt I was being gouged or up-sold on a service.
I paid the supplier of materials directly so I didn't have to worry about materials not being paid for.
Upfront Mr. Zapata stated he did not like to deal with gutters and downspouts but we agreed on a price of removal in reinstallation of my gutters. When the siding was complete the removed gutters were buried under snow and ice and we agreed to delay reinstallation until the snow melted and I could clean the gutters prior to his return.
I admit I was slow in getting the gutters cleaned and when I did contact him for re-installation he indicated he would work the project into his upcoming schedule. To be short Mr. Zapata did not re-install the gutters and I had to find another person. Since I had held back the $$ for gutter installation this was not an issue other than being a little troublesome.
I thought the work he did was top notch and would hire him again, if needed.

Joe is a highly skilled craftsman. His ability to anticipate problem areas, as well resolve surprises along the way speak to his expertise. He is very precise - even picky- about the details, which made this homeowner very happy! Our home had lots of original details that we did not want to lose, and Joe paid careful attention to our concerns. He was able to replicate the window trim details, wide bandboards, crown molding and shakes in the gable, and porch details such as turned posts and railings. In addition to quality craftsmanship, Joe, and his fellow craftsman Steve, were exemplary in their job site behaviors. First of all, they were PUNCTUAL! They started exactly when they said they would, worked full days every day until the job was done. Joe and Steve were very respectful and engaging with my immediate neighbors. I am a pet owner, and Steve and Joe were very good about our pet's routine. There was never a problem with loud music, or bad language, and they cleaned up the jobsite at the end of every day. My whole neighborhood, as well as my cat, are sad the guys are gone.
