STANS ASPHALT PAVING

Stan was very pushy, I explained several times that I wanted to get another quote because his seemed high. He kept calling and offering me money off and said he had left over material from another job and he could start that day. I should have known this was a sales tactic, but the timeline was appealing so I caved and hired him. We had the end of our driveway re-done with asphalt; it had to be widened and built up at one end. That area turned out ok, I can live with it. The rest of the driveway was to be seal coated. This is the problem. Stand told me over the phone that he could cut out the humps we have and fill in the holes. He told my husband he would apply sand in the cracks. The holes were poorly filled in. The hump was not cut out. No sand was applied to the cracks. Stan's response to my disappointment when finding out this was the completed job was that he went above and beyond and did what was written in the contract. It looks like crap and I paid a lot of money. As far as what was written on the contract - seal coating wasn't even mentioned so I guess I should be happy he bothered to do that. Don't get cheated by this guy like we did.

It looks good so far. We just started using it yesterday. We had rain and it even drained properly.
