The corner of the basement had major seepage, and the company no longer exists. What good is any warranty if the company goes away?

They did a terrible job. They broke our toilet and shelves and never told us. They said it would only take a week and it took 2 weeks. They did very shoddy work. They did not fix the problem and the basement still leaks.
On January 18 and 19, 2012, , we had some mold remediation done in our basement. The workers uncovered areas that Dry Duck missed and did not waterproof. We purchased a new sump pump from them, and my husband showed them the areas they missed. Dry Duck has agreed to come back and fix those areas. We have had water seepage in these areas since 2003. I am very disgusted with their work. I would never ever use them again! !!!

I had a couple companies come out and give me an estimate for the diagonal cracks intthe corners of my basement. Dry Duck said installing an interior French drain would solve my problem. They installed the drain, called them back out a couple of time right of way after the installation to fix issues. Workers where rude. I asked them to fix an area that was not right, the cement was low. The worker took a blob of cement and basically just flung it onto the floor leaving it jagged; my guess is he was mad he had to come out. Now that it is ~ 9 years later I discovered my back wall is leaning in, which it was not doing before. I have had several contractors out and all of them said that installing the drain is not the fix for this type of issue; the wall should have been stabilized. I did not notice the wall leaning since the plastic Dry Duck put up covered the cracks. So not only did I waste $6000 but I have a huge bill now to push the wall back out and stabilize it. I would highly recommend NOT using this company.

They were in and out within a day. The employees were courteous and they took precautions not to make a mess all over the house.

They did a wonderful job and other contractors explained they saved us $400 - $500 dollars since they do not have to re-level the floor.

I was very glad that they could do the job the same time they gave me the estimate. They were upper mid priced but did a good job.

Good work for me when they came out wasn't terribly expensive considering what I needed to be done.

Terrible experience! They were so friendly and professional when giving me the estimate & when they came to do the work. They used scare tactics about the block walls caving in & I was very worried about not doing the job. They were back for many different reasons a total of 4 times since the job was done, 1st time high water table, dug up whole job to lay visquene. 2nd time, they never laid pvc piping along two walls of the basement when they originally did the job. 3rd time, they wanted to tie into my sump better & the 4th time they decided they had to redo the whole job because they did not pitch it good enough when they did job originally. My basement is in worse shape today than before they did the job. I have wetness, dampness, moisture around the entire basement & floor, and the smell. I cannot imagine anyone paying the money I did & end up with the nightmare I have down there. I just wanted a dry, odor-free, structurally-sound basement & that is what I thought I was paying for.

I was happy with the company as a whole. I had two companies quote my job. Although I felt the company that I didn't go with had a much better presentation, I decided to use Dry Duck. I went with Dry Duck because I liked their price, felt they were professional and I didn't feel pressured into making a decision at the time of the estimate. During the job they were very neat,(considering it was a messy job) were polite and finished the job in a timely manner.

The Crew was on time and did the work to all four walls in one day. They stopped at each step in the process and explained what they would do next and why. We enjoyed having the guys out, they kept us entertained and informed. We had been told by another company, that we only needed to do 2 walls, but the Dry Duck crew showed us how all 4 walls were full of water. They drilled holes in the bottom brick and water gushed out into the new drainage system. If we ever move, I will have Dry Duck waterproof our new home before we move in.
