On Friday, June 13, I called the number listed and went to voice mail. I gave a description of problem and left my number for return call. Call came very quickly. Discussed problem with the washing machine and gave my address. I was told a serviceman would be here either Monday or Tuesday, depending on their schedule, but they would phone me to let me know. On Monday, a call came in telling me a the serviceman would be here on Tuesday around noon and asked if that time frame was good for me. I told him works for me. Tuesday morning I received a call from the serviceman, Mike, making sure the appointment was still good for me and I said yes. Around noon, Mike called me again telling me he was on his way. When he arrived Mike introduced himself and went right to work examining the washer. He then returned to his van to get the replacement part in installed it. Now to test it... I told him because of the leak, the water had been turned off down in the crawl space where I was unable to go. Mike asked me to hold on to the hoses as he went into the crawl space and turned on the water to determine which was hot and which was cold. When that was done, he attached the hoses then went back into the crawl space to turn on the water permanently.
In the house, washer examined, new part installed, 2 trips into crawl space...all done within 20 minutes!
Payment was made, business card given me, my thanks given to him, few more pleasantries exchanged and away he went!
You know I'll use this service again if need arises. And, if anyone asks for an appliance service, I'll happily refer Steve and Jim's Appliance Service!
