Jason came to give us a bid and ended up fixing everything within 2 hours, my grandmothers pipes were broken for 4 years. The other estimates I got told me it would be 2,500+ to get them fixed. Jason went under there and told me it was a 200$ fix…. Always get other estimates! Luckily Dougs was a trustworthy place because we really could’ve gotten taken advantage of.

Pros - Office staff & installers were friendly, my furnace now works Cons - The day I signed my contract & placed my 2/3 down deposit, I was told that it would take about 2 weeks for them to repair my furnace (4-5 days to get the parts & then another week out to schedule the repairs because of a busy service schedule). I called three times (each about a week apart) and was told each time that they just needed to order the parts & then they could schedule service. I can see my first request getting overlooked (the office manager was out sick when I came in), but I had to call three more times just to get my parts ordered (even though my deposit check had cleared my bank just two days after I had written it). It took a month for the repairs to be finished on my furnace. I will not be using their services again.

Doug's Plumbing in Bay City, MI is a well run, dependable, prompt business. I had a toilet that was not flushing due to a pressure part in it that needed to be replaced. First , it was refreshing to call a business and actually talk to a live person who can schedule an appointment.  The person asked questions and made an appointment on a day that I could work it out.  Jason came. He was  ON TIME and a very friendly person who knew exactly what the problem was and how to fix it.  He explained everything to me and what to look for in case it ever happens again. He replaced a broken part and was done in less than an hour. I was extremely pleased with Jason and Doug's Plumbing so much  that I got an estimate for other work to be done in the spring.  This company knows what "customer service" means. I would HIGHLY recommend them to family and friends.

The work was done professionally and quickly.

They did a good job.  I’ve got a couple of estimates and when they came over, I thought they knew better what they were doing then the other places.  I liked the technician.

It was a good experience. It went very good. I called them in the morning and it was done by 4 in the afternoon.

Called them they called me back with a time and approx price and came when they said they would.

Showed up on time and did an excellent job.

Response time was excellent, prices comparable with others.  Have had work done before and have always been very happy with the quality of the work.

I would tell others that they were knowledgeable and on time.  We actually use them at our work point and the one service tech Chris knows his stuff.  I spent about $95 on that last visit.

Doug's Plumbing sent Jeff S. to my house regarding a bathtub faucet leak.  A convenient time was scheduled and I did not have to wait for days to have him show up. The job was described in the above paragraph.  The office is very helpful also.

The service was fast and efficient. They're kind and trustworthy, and you can let them in your house without worry. They also clean up after themselves!
