I used Sherriff-Goslin because they had a good rating on Angie's List.  I contacted them during the winter because I had had several leaks.  They came out to look at the roof and where the leaks were within a day or two after I contacted them.  They explained where they thought the leaks were coming from and explained that the leak around the chimney was common due to the way it was built.  He explained what they would do to stop the leak and prevent further leaks.  I decided to have the entire roof redone.  I am in the process of putting the house up for sale and did not want to keep patching leaks every time we had a down pour and/or windstorm.  Sherriff-Goslin said that they woudl not be able to replace the roof until the early spring sometime in March.  Meanwhile, they did return a day or two later to make some temporary seals around the leak areas.  The roof was replaced the first week of March.  The first day I did not even realize they had been there.  I received a call concerning the breaker for the outside electrical box.  I was amazed by the cleanup each day.  The first two days there was a crew of three.  The final three days, one gentleman did all the finishing touches and was very meticulous to get it perfect.  We had a few days of rain between the first two days and the final finishing.  I was very pleased with the turnaround time with the unpredictable weather.  I would certainly recommend Sherriff-Goslin, as they were recommended to me by co-workers and Angie's List.  I think the price was fair for my two story house with multiple peaks.  I like the "Art-Loc" Diamond-shaped interlocking shingles with a 30 year warranty and a 10 year free service guarantee against leaks.

Second time I've used them to repair what another company installed! S.G. did a VERY good job dealing with another company's errors!

They told us they would put the roof up in two days and would protect our landscaping. They said they'd put plywood boards up and clean up perfectly. It took them over two weeks to do the house. There was a language barrier. They ended up cutting down our apple tree because they thought we told them to. They didn't protect out landscaping at all. They destroyed it. We had to hire someone to come and fix it once they were gone. We tried to get them to listen to us and explain the landscaping. We asked them to replace the apple tree and they brought us a little one. The bill was very high. We were in a hurry and the sales guy was smooth. He made us believe they wouldn't hurt the landscaping and they'd get it done quickly. We had to come back a few times. They didn't clean up. One of our landscapers gone a nail in his foot through his shoe. On the weekends they'd leave ladders all over. We couldn't even walk outside because there was roofing stuff everywhere. It was a rip-off. There was supposed to be a local guy who spoke English, but he wasn't on site. They told the boss that I told them to get off the roof. I never even spoke to them. We called another roofer who came over and inspected for free.
