RELIABLE REFRIGERATION APPLIANCE REPAIR

The service was done very quickly and reasonably.  Jim was able to come over the next day and have the repair done very quickly.  He was very friendly on the phone and easy to deal with.  I would definitely recommend them to anybody.

When I called to request service, the person who took my call was polite in asking the nature of the problem we were having and was able to schedule a time that was convenient.

The service person arrived on time and went through all the possibilities of the cause of the problem.  He was courteous and answered our questions well.  He found nothing mechanically wrong, and didn't see any foods that could be causing the problem. He suggested some solutions and sold us a charcoal deodorizer package that would take care of lingering odors.  The problem was solved.  We were not charged a service fee since no repair was done.  

We would certainly call Reliable again if we needed service on any of our appliances.

My washer would agitate, but would not drain or spin. When I called him in the afternoon, he told me he would be over the next day. He called an hour before he came to let me know he was on his way. After he quickly repaired my washer, I paid him and he left. A few days later, I received an envelope from Reliable Refrigeration. Inside was a check for $5.00 and a note of apology because he said he mistakenly overcharged me on the service call amount. I was very impressed because I had no way of knowing if he overcharged me or not. He could have easily kept the money, but was honest enough to return it to me. It was a small amount of money, BUT it said a lot about his character!

The repairman called to confirm that I was home and arrived on time. He was identified the problem. The part that was needed for the repair had to be ordered. He said he would return in two days and install the new part and he did. He performed a test on the washer before leaving to ensure nothing was going to leak and that everything was in working order. The repair was timely and I the cost was reasonable. I would definitely call them again.

We got our money's worth on this one. This was the latest of the half dozen times we have used their service for the disappointingly poor quality Jenn-Air appliances we purchased for a kitchen renovation about 10 years ago. Refrigerator, microwave and oven have all had a couple issues requiring repairs over the years and Reliable Refrigeration Repair has been our repair service each time. This time it was the oven. The bake function didn't work but the broiler did. First they came and trouble shot and gave us the estimate for the part, a circuit board. We debated about just buying a new oven but decided to get this one repaired. They had trouble finding the part and ended up getting it from a supplier in NY. It arrived after a couple weeks and they came to repair...well the board was defective, not only did the bake not work, neither did the broiler. So they researched again and it was like a 6 week back order. So we decided to just buy a new over and had them come out and put the old board back in and paid some minimal charge, despite 3 trips. We had a problem finding a replacement that would not require alterations to the custom made cabinets and counters we had made when we remodeled our kitchen and bought the Jenn-Air appliances. So we decided, again, to just get it repaired...contacted Reliable Refrigeration, they ordered the part and installed it when it was received a month or so later. The price we paid was excellent, the board was the major cost and considering 4 trips in total, labor was very reasonable.

The appointment window was scheduled for Noon to 5:00. On the day of the appointment he called to say he was on his way and he showed up shortly after the call. I told him what had happened and he got straight to work. After about an hour, he let me know he could not find anything specific wrong, but that it was working again. There had been an error code that had registered low water pressure but that my water pressure was fine, he could find nothing wrong, but he checked the screens and other areas to confirm he could not find anything wrong. He did not charge me the full service call charge and said if I had any more issues to call and he would come back out.
I was very impressed with his professionalism, that he called to let me know he was on his way and that he was honest. Best of all, the washer is working again.
