I paid them a deposit a year ago and was promised the house would be completed late winter and now it's October and my home is still not completed. I have contacted them and they have not responded. They were to contact me on September 27th and still have not heard from them. The flooring should have been done by now and is still not done. The site manager keeps changing and I have not been happy thus far with them completing this job and their responsiveness. I am now havinig to spend money now that I didn’t expect for other living arrangements.

This experience was a total nightmare, and Brad Byarski is the most unprofessional and incompetent person I have ever encountered when dealing with a business. Had I done my homework prior to getting involved, I would not have even considered this company.
We locked in an interest rate on our home loan in December 2012, for 60 days, after asking Brad?s office that day if the house was still on schedule. We were assured we would be able to close on our initially established closing date in January which was established within 15 days of signing the purchase agreement as required by Brad?s purchase agreement. There was no issue with this date until after the new year.
Up until mid-January, Brad continued to assure us that we were on schedule. January blew by, and we ended up battling Brad to cover our interest rate lock extension because he did not finish the house when promised. He did not have anyone working on the house until late December. Brad agreed to pay half of the extension fees. According to Brad, it was not because he was responsible for the delay but because he wanted to ?help us out.? When we locked the interest rate, we had given him an extra few weeks on top of when he had originally told us the house would be completed. He would never put anything in writing no matter how many times we asked, so I had to record the conversations. He would also blame things on us when they were actually caused by his disorganization and forgetfulness.
On February 2, 2013, Brad promised the house would be finished on February 15, 2013 and told our lender that he would be ready for the appraiser. He was nowhere near complete at that point. He then delayed the appraisal two weeks because he refused to sign the VA required amendatory/escape clause that allowed us to terminate the purchase agreement with a full refund of all earnest money if the house did not appraise for the purchase agreement price. This form was required in order to obtain the appraisal, and he was well aware using a builder VA ID number. The house appraised for lower than the purchase agreement, and we met again and agreed on a new purchase price. Brad told us he would be completed by March 18, 2013 this time, so we could close by March 22, 2013. I told him I wanted that in the new purchase agreement with consequences if he did not meet that date since we were approaching four months for completion instead of the promised two months. He would not agree to that but did agree to put the completion date in the new purchase agreement. We had to hound him for over a week to get a new purchase agreement for our lender, and at that point, he said there was no way he would be done by March 18, 2013 or even by the end of the month. He would only say that he would try his best to finish within 30 days of counter top installation. With no date set to install the counters, there was no end in sight.
We ended up having to go to his office and retrieve all of the fixtures that we had purchased to be installed in the house. We are out thousands of dollars because of this scam artist. Brad?s sales manager that we originally worked with has since quit because she had her own problems with the company.
Brad Byarski was extremely disorganized, incompetent, and unprofessional. To this day, he blames his delays and errors on us. He claims we selected too many custom options, but that is far from the truth. We paid him close to $1300 for upgraded tile and stair railing. I had to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau to attempt to get our money back because we obviously did not receive those items. He had not really installed any of our personal selections before we had to walk away because he still had much of the house to finish. I am guessing he had problems finding people to do the work because he wouldn't or couldn't pay them.
I want to make sure that he does not have the opportunity to scam anyone else. Our only option now is court because he responded to my complaint to the BBB twice with a bunch of nonsense. It is hard to imagine how he can live with himself when he continues to s*** nonstop lies. As for the owner of the company, Anthony Randazzo, I did not deal with him, but I would stay as far away from this company as possible.
