I asked for the dead wood to be removed from my honey locust trees. What I got was grossly over pruned trees, it's called lion's tail pruning. To Davey it was a thing of beauty, to me it is not what I asked for and sinfully ugly. BTW, after all of this there is still dead wood in the trees and I will never allow Davey to work on my trees again.

arrived on time and were efficient. The arborist who came to give me a quote seemed very knowledgeable.

I needed arborvitae trees to be trimmed on the bottom up to 1' in height from the patio floor. The cutting ended up an unsightly 2' in height. An explanation as to why that happened were unsatisfactory. It will take many years now to regrow.

Arrived on date as promised. Crew very responsive to customer's wishes. Excellent results.

Excellent. I have used Davey Tree exclusively for twelve years. They maintained the trees at my previous home (60 plus mature Oak, Cherry and Linden. Top notch service every time. I have recommended Davey to many friends and neighbors without reservation .

They were really good but I thought it was expensive. The guy who came to estimate came on time and was professionally dress. He gave us a quote and talked to us about what we wanted.

It was a lot, several hundreds of dollars. Their service is good but cost wasn't so. They were pretty good. I would not use them again.

They are wonderful. We have an annual contract with them so they are out here six or seven times a year. They just come out on schedule. We don't schedule them. They come promptly. They always let us know they are here. They let us know what they are going to do and the service person is just really very conscientious. He always lets us know what's going on.

I hate them. They were horrible. They didn’t even know what to do when they got here. The guy that came out gave me the full list of these great things they were going to do and then 2 guys showed up and they were standing around and didn’t even know what to do, I had to tell them. It was just terrible. It was just bad. I wouldn’t even recommend them and I wish they go out of business.

It turned out great, I am always happy using them. They are very efficient, do a thorough job. I have recommended them to others and will continue to do so.

They did a great job. I am never there when I am there. The trees are still alive. Local company that does great work. I have had a contract with them for 10 years.

It's great. They're coming tomorrow. When I have problems, they explain what it is and they treat it. I have them come out every three or four  months. I just bought this house a year ago and there were a lot of problems. I figure when everything is healthy, then I won't probably use them, but they know what they're doing and they spray for disease and tell me what's what and it's great. It's not cheap. Once you kill the rust thing, you don't have to do it again and you have some pretty trees. I think that's just how much it costs. I know they use chemicals and they're the experts, I think that's just the cost of doing business. They knew what they were doing and they gave me good advice and they took care of my plants. The workers were great. One thing that stuck out that I liked is, I had a problem in between treatments and I called them and they came out and looked and they didn't charge me for it.

Bushes were supposed to have been trimmed. They didn't trim the bushes. They laid down rocks and all of that stuff in the back yard, it was sparse and weeds were still coming up. In the yard where they were supposed to put grass down, the grass didn't come up the way it should have come up. For that visit, they overcharged me. They sent people that didn't have the expertise. Their professionalism was very good. They were punctual to come out to do it, they just didn't do it right. If they right this wrong, I would use them again.

They've done a lot of work for me in the past and I've been extremely pleased, but this year has been kind of  different. We've had serious problems and we're trying to deal with the problems at this point. It seems like it's going to work itself out, but it has been a real big hassle for me this year. I did say that if I don't get satisfaction I will move on to another company. I use them all the time. I have an ongoing contract with them every year. This year I had some major work done and they did a really lousy job, but they're trying to make it right and I'm going to see if they make it right. I told them today that if it's not made right then I will no longer be using their services. Things were supposed to have been done, they were not done, I had been complaining, they kept putting it off and putting it off and then finally they did come out today to see what the situation was and realized that yes, it's Davey's fault and what they said was that they would rectify the situation to make me a happy customer. I told them, "If I'm not happy, I will not use your service next year," and I've used them for 17 years. One thing about Davey's is, if I'm not satisfied, they will come out and try to right the wrong. My thing is, they came out today and said they're going to right the wrong. In two weeks it's going to be right. If the wrong is not right I will not use them next year and I've used them for 17 years. They looked over, they saw some things that they agreed with me on and said that they would be out on November 1 to make the situation right. They want to make me a happy customer. They have done excellent work for me in the past. I don't want to lose them, but when they change hands and get new foreman and all of this, these guys don't know what they're doing and that's the problem. I don't blame Davey's, but they put new people because the other ones move on to go elsewhere and then they put people that have no clue as to what they're doing. They responded, but it took them a while to respond to my issues. They're always on time, always. When they make an appointment and say they're going to be here, they're here.

It went well. They did a good job. There was nothing wrong with them, they were fine they were good. I'll call them but I think there's cheaper places. I think they're very good and they're very professional but I think there's companies worth giving you a tree cut that you could get a little cheaper.

Actually we had some tree damage couple years ago he cut up a tree and they did good work.

Our yard has lots of trees, It was a big job. Several men and it took them all day. I was very pleased. They were not cheap but for what they did, I was happy. They cleaned up after themselves.

They did a nice job.

They do an excellent job. They have saved out white birch tree and that is beautiful. We have used them for 4 years now.
