Feel we were overcharged to replace the shutoff valve for our outdoor spigot. $323 for less than an hour of labor and a $30 part.

I received a text that Dan would be arriving 20 minutes before my scheduled window which was welcome news. He arrived at that time and was professional. He did wear a mask for anyone curious in these weird COVID times. 30 minutes later all of his tools were picked up and I had a working drain.

The team here responded really quickly, set up the time, did the job the next day even! Couldn't be happier and price was best I could find even.

These guys were great! Very knowledgeable and easy to work with. Their price was outstanding. I requested one change half way through the project, and the plumber realized another thing that could be done differently to make the project significantly better, which he did. I would have gladly paid more for the changes, but he kept the price the same as quoted. I most definitely will hire them again, and highly recommend them for any plumbing project.

My bathtub has been draining really slow for several days. I called Plumbing Professors because they were highly recommended by a coworker. I had an appointment scheduled for the next day. Chad called that morning and asked if we could get the issue fixed first thing - He showed up on time and fixed my clogged bathtub super quick! He talked me through what he was going to do and gave me all the disclaimers in case something broke. All went really well and my bathtub now drains quicker than ever. Would definitely use Plumbing Professors again in the future.

he extended and bypassed the overflow pipe out so it reach right down into the ground, and used a roto-rooter to clean out the pipe even though he didn't have to do that.  They called an hour before saying he's on his way. He is ALWAYS very professional and ON TIME

This is my second time using Plumbing Professors, and they did a great job again. I noticed a water spot on my basement drop ceiling on Monday night. I had an appointment by Tuesday afternoon. Tim, the plumber, was also a hour earlier than his estimated time, and the office called first to let me know he was coming. I showed Tim the problem, and he explained everything thoroughly. Turns out I had not one but two leaks on the same pipe, so it took longer and cost more than we originally thought. Overall, I found Plumbing Professors prices to be competitive and about the same as other plumbers. I am really pleased, and I plan on having them out again in a few months to replace some hard to turn on/off valves.

It was a rather disappointing experience. They tried to be good about it. When they snaked the drain their machine damaged my basement floor.  One of the rubber feet came off their machine and it vibrated and kind of tore up the tile. They were very good about that. I mean, they came out right away and wanted to compensate for that. We made an agreement. I should have just had them cut me a check because I was not too happy with what they did afterwards -- it was just one particular gentleman. What I agreed to was to take two of their drain maintenance products and then they agreed to look at a leaky sink I had. They came in, looked at the sink and said it was the faucet itself. I had two identical faucets in there so I went out and bought two faucets, then when they came back they sent a different guy who was kind of not willing  to honor the verbal agreement that they gave. He said he would only install one. I said, well, okay, and then he started pricing what the second one would be and he had it all out and said they were going to add this on. So they charged me $125 to put in a faucet so he kind of had an attitude. He was just about the money so they left a bad taste in my mouth. If they just would have said they were sorry about this and here were my faucets they would have been a lot better. Overall this is an excellent company, they are available 24/7. Their prices -- I think $125 for a sink is kind of outrageous, but they are professional plumbers, I know they charge a lot. It cost $235 to snake the drain. This is the first time I have ever had that done. They guy was great. They have a toll free number, schedule right there and they come evenings and Saturdays. The customer service phone line staff is very good when you call them.

Plumbing Professors were real heroes for us. I heard their name through Glen Haege the Master Handyman (on the radio), and I liked that they didn't charge extra for nights and weekends.
On Saturday, Feb 27, my husband and I decided we could fix our leaking, pedestal sink in our master bath. We ended up taking the pedestal apart - BIG MISTAKE! We could not get the thing reassembled and attached to the wall. Plus, we discovered that the original plumber who installed the sink and faucet (a very reputable company) had mis-threaded the U-bend (trap), so we could not screw that apart. Also, the original plumber had not used any plumbers putty or caulk, and we had all this mold under the two faucet handles where water was seeping in from everyday use. Not to mention that the original plumber did not screw the sink into the wall. He merely "glued" it to the wall with caulk so it nearly fell on husband's foot when we removed the pedestal.
I called Plumbing Professors on Sunday. They said someone could be out that evening. The plumber showed up early, and he called before arrival. Off to a good start! He was a really nice guy and spent several hours at our house reassembling the sink in our very small bathroom. He also went though and corrected all the other problems that the first, negligent plumber had caused, inlcluding making sure the sink was securely connected to the wall. He even took the time of remove the old caulk from the floor and wall where the previous plumber had "glued" the pedestal to the floor and the sink basin to the wall.
After all those hours, I thought this would cost a fortune. But the $230 price was reasonable, and he even took the coupon I found on the company website. I was very loyal to my previous plumbing company. But after this screw up with the sink (I paid $400 for that work), I am done with them. Plumbing Professors are my new, go-to guys. Very happy customer here!

Had roots cleaned out on 11-1-15.  Had a big flood on 11-6-15.  Ruined the carpet in a finished room because all of the roots were not cleaned out and the caps were not reinstalled right. Called them back and they came out and said "not our fault, it's your drain and I tried to show you the video"  I do not need to see a video, I trusted you to do it right.   If you need to see the video, by all means, go ahead.  Anyway, they re-snaked it and it appears to be fine.  I know that you can not get all of the roots out but, you should be able to get enough out for the drain to function. That's what I paid 240 for.   Anyway, I'm stuck with a room that needs new carpet. No help from them, they couldn't even wet-vac the mess.  Told me to contact my insurance co.  They are good at claiming their innocence and double talk about what caused this mess. Good luck.

Note to Plumbing Professors:  You cannot treat a finished room like a regular basement where a flood could just be mopped up.
