Description of Work: The cost of inertia benefits companies liked Welcome Home in Ann Arbor. It takes so long to find a new housekeeper that you learn to overlook the shortcomings and disappointments of the current one. I don't have a very large house, but I was told that it would take 4 hours for a weekly clean. That seemed fair to me. Amazingly, they now have it down to just over two, yet I still get charged for 4

 + -1 moreThe quality was always good, though not great-- often mirrors wouldn't be cleaned or beds not made. However the most frustrating part for me was that there were always a few things I would like to be addressed-- For example, not to leave wet clothes in the washing machine, not to put wood cutting boards in the dishwasher-- and for some reason they still happened repeatedly. Not only that, but I was told I would get a discount because of my difficulties and they never managed to apply the discount. My best guess is that there are some communication issues between the office and the woman who actually comes to my house, and that perhaps she is not given enough time to do her job. I have now discontinued service and found another service.
Description of Work: Welcome Home performed housecleaning for me 5 times. The first time was $210 and the following times were $90 each, which I feel is high for a 2-bedroom apartment. They vacuum, dust, clean bathrooms, the kitchen, take out the garbage, do one load of laundry, make the beds.

 + -1 moreWelcome Home was organized in scheduling a date for a thorough house cleaning when our regular house cleaner was not available. Two women arrived and were responsive to my preferences for particular cleaning products. They were thorough and detail-oriented, and the house was MUCH cleaner when they left. f I needed those services again, I would definitely call them.
