Several people in Ann Arbor had recommended Such a Find to me, so I made an appointment to talk to Melanie. She arrived promptly and respectfully went through the house and items with me. She provided me with complete and accurate information about what her company would do, and answered all of my questions.
She and her team took care of everything related to the estate sale. They took pictures of items and advertised the sale on their website. They priced the items and displayed them for sale. They clearly spelled out the parking restrictions for the complex in their website ad. They cleared everything out of the home as I requested, they left it clean, and even swept out the garage for me. Melanie sent me an itemized list of what sold within two days, and was told to expect the check within the week.
It was rather shocking to me to see how little everything sold for, but I have heard that same thing from others who have been through an estate sale. The total amount was very close to what Melanie had predicted when she went through the house with me.
There were some very small items that were not cleaned out, which took me less than an hour to dispose of. All in all I am extremely satisfied with the work Melanie and her team did. I would whole-heartedly recommend them for anyone seeking an estate sale company.
