I first started looking on Angie's List for companies who do video transfer. There were not very many reviewed at this time. One that I did call was offering a so-called holiday special for about $125 for the first copy and $25 for each additional copy, which seemed very expensive to me. After searching the internet for more possibilities, I found Ritz Camera and Photo, which has locations across the country. I'm glad I looked further, because I found a very good deal from a price stand point and the work was well-done.
Description of Work: They transferred two 8mm films to DVD. The DVDs are very well done, with chapters and nice background music. The price was very reasonable, just $29.99 per DVD for up to two hours of film content. I had two done, so the cost was $60, but they also had a special going for an additional free copy, so I actually got four DVDs for $60. I wanted three copies in total of one film, so I purchased one additional copy for the very reasonable cost of $15, so I ended up with a total cost for 5 DVDs of $75 for very nice, professional work. I am very satisfied.
