Abdo and his team were outstanding throughout. They showed up when they said they would, got the job done per original timeframe, and kept to the budget. They were extremely nice and helpful, with good ideas to solve some tricky problems with the space. We were very impressed with their skill, professionalism, creativity, and friendliness. I VERY highly recommend these guys!

We had our bathroom remodeled in early 2022. Our goal was to lay out the small main bathroom for better efficiency and update from vinyl and fiberglass to tile walls and floors. Abdo came multiple times to measure our space and was available to discuss ideas over the phone leading up to the remodel. Remodeling included a full gut demolition removing a fiberglass tub and surround, pulling up vinyl floors, and removing a dividing wall (and old knob and tube!). Abdo and Rick then built a custom tiled shower, half-wall, floor, and wainscotting. They also contracted with plumbers to move shower plumbing to the other side of the wall to open up the space and pivot the toilet, and electricians to remove knob and tube and install wiring for a heated floor. Abdo was fantastic to work with - he is very warm, accommodating, and flexible. He goes above and beyond with his work, often making suggestions that we hadn't thought of. Once we opened up the floor and the walls, plans changed and Abdo was right there helping us make new plans. We were charged exactly what we were quoted, even though the project took a bit longer than we had anticipated. Abdo was particularly accommodating when we had to ask him to change the height of the half-wall - twice. Rick was kind enough to accommodate additional demolition and changes in the vanity (schlepping it upstairs and back downstairs) with grace. Since the remodel is over, Abdo has called and stopped by to make sure everything is to our liking. We enjoyed having Rick and Abdo at our place and would definitely contract Pyramid Ceramic Tile again. They were a pleasure to work with.

Great job! Abdo first fixed the walls so that they would be square. He then installed the cement board and tiled the walls. He included a box area and installed a grab bar. He is very skilled and detail oriented. I’m having him tile my kitchen backsplash next spring.

Pyramid Ceramic Tile redid my master bathroom in the fall of 2018. Abdo managed the project start to finish, patiently helping me with the design and with the tile choices. He assembled a very competent team of contractors to handle the carpentry, plumbing, and electrical aspects of the project. He always engaged me in the decisions that came up from time to time during the work, and always gave me good advice. I wanted a somewhat unusual design with an open shower stall and Abdo made it work. I am very happy with the results.

Abdo did such a phenomenal job on our master bathroom remodel in our Ann Arbor home last summer. We are timid first-time home owners and this was our first big project. Abdo never made us feel pressured. We got quotes from several contractors in the area, and Abdo offered a price that was competitive and reasonable (others were through the roof!). He was responsive - always texting or calling with updates. He was punctual. He listened to what we wanted. He offered sage advice about what would work or not in the bathroom (He is so knowledgeable, and has been doing this for decades). Once the materials were all assembled for the big project, he got the project done within 1-2 weeks, which included tiling, putting in a tub, electric work, etc. We felt like he made us his priority until the project was done. Even further, he came by no questions asked a few months later when we had one minor issue that he quickly resolved. We would undoubtedly recommend Abdo to a friend and wouldn't hesitate to hire again for a future project. Thank you Abdo!!

This review is long overdue. Abdo and his team were the first step to the rehabilitation of a shortsale. His work was superb, exhibiting craftsmanship at another level. Every step of the process was planned out right, with precision, ahead of time so there were no ugly surprises or disappointments down the road. Rather, it all came together perfectly! His ethics were impeccable and the respect he showed for my property (despite the unimpressive condition the house was in) was admirable. His work exceeded expectations by far. The kitchen and bathrooms were the centerpieces when we sold the house 2 weeks ago. It was barely 7 weeks from listing to closing and had appreciated more than $100,000 in 24 months. So, the cost was definitely worth every penny. I've attached photos, as words cannot do justice to his work. I will be forever grateful, and cannot recommend them strongly enough!

Abdo Daoud, the owner of Pyramid Ceramic Tile, and Dave, who assisted him were fantastic. Abdo listened to what we wanted and offered options to help stay within budget while providing us with the bathroom we wanted. Abdo even suggested adding a shelf to the shower which worked out great. When I asked if they could fit a proper exhaust for the bathroom fan (it used to vent differently), it was done with minimal stress or time. It was a pleasure to have them round the house and we would definitely hire them again if needed.

Pleasant to work with, did an excellent job on the tile, particularly intricate tile work around milled woodwork. Tile selected was 4.99/sq.ft. He calculated the job required 60 sq.ft, but charged me $700 for the tile, when questioned, his answer did not satisfy me. The "acid" cleaning did not include the wall tiles. He did replace the grout around the perimeter of the floor and two of the corners.

I will seek estimates and suggestions from other contractors as well before making a decision on how to proceed.

They were prompt everyday and they did a good job. I was happy with the service. The reason why I went with them was because they had high ratings on Angie's List and I can understand why. They were respectful and they cleaned up each day before they left. They showed up on time each morning. I did not really get any other estimates. I was in a hurry and they could fit me in so I just went with them.

I will give Pyramid Ceramic Tile an A for overall experience.

Abdo was fantastic. He was responsive and was able to work with our schedule and get the bathroom in our home done while we were out of town. He stuck with his original estimate, even though the conditions in one of the bathrooms were pretty rough (needed a new subfloor, a window was hidden behind the old liner, etc.).

They are really fantastic. It's the best value in the world. I love them. They were completely professional, showed up on time and there were no surprises. They fell within the budget. They were clean and showed positive attitude here.

Everything went very well. Abdo said he would be back within the month to do the job and in the meantime we chose tile, grout, etc, with Abdo's expert assistance. He came when he said he was going to and did a superb job tearing everything out and re-installing the floor of the shower as well as the walls, working from 9:00 - 5:00 on most days and even longer if he needed to. The job was completed in two weeks as predicted. He did an excellent, professional job and we are extremely pleased with the result.

We performed a major renovation to the first floor of our 44 year old home which included removing the existing flooring down to the base subfloor and rebuilding it with a much improved underlayment and finally porcelain tile. We hired Pyramid based upon the recommendation of a friend, comments made about Pyramid at the tile store and the quotation. Mr. Daoud provided the leadership, knowledge and skill to not only help us select the proper tile for our application but significantly improved the understructure of the floor in order to maximize the lifetime of the final tiling. He was respectful of our property, careful and mindful of noise and dirt resulting from the removal process and the area was swept clean after every work day. Impressively, laser guidance tools were used to align the tiles as they were laid and I saw him constantly rechecking alignment and level as he worked. He also is mindful of the customer’s wishes in selecting layout alternatives as the work progresses and we are completely pleased with the final results. Since adjoining floors were to later be laid with hardwood flooring, Mr. Daoud’s attention to detail resulted in a perfect match of the floor levels where tile meets wood. Noting the success and workmanship on the tiling, we asked Mr. Daoud to also do our kitchen backsplash where again his counsel and wisdom was very helpful in achieving an outstanding result and the compliments from our friends and relatives are still coming in. Pyramid’s pricing is highly competitive, completed per agreement and with no last minute surprises. We couldn’t be happier.

Abdo is very knowledgable and detail oriented. The overall job took longer than expected, but the end result and quality are evident.

We were referred to Pyramid tile by a neighbor in 2005. At that time we had him install a tile floor in out three season room and a floor in our 1/2 bath. We were so pleased with the results and the total experience of working with him that we had him come back in 2007 to remodel our upstairs bath. Then in 2008 we had him remodel our master bath. Each experience has been great, he is a true professional and does all the work himself along with a helper. The jobs were all started and finished on time and the tile looks beautiful. This is someone who takes pride in his work and it shows.

He does fabulous work. I can't say enough about the good work that he does. He is professional, responsible, incredibly easy to work with, on time and he does beautiful work.
