PLATINUM CONSTRUCTION AND DRYWALL

Found him on angies list so i figured I would give him a try. Everything started out good. Seemed nice, knew what he was talking about and gave us a price 2 days later via email. Here is the down side. He said he's been doing this since the 90's. He's been on angies list since looks like 2007 and i've seen reviews from 2012. Its now 2015.... So, in his email he sent me the price which was the cheapest out of all of our bids. However, I asked for a written proposal, references and pictures of his work.... You would think if you've been in business for this long, you would have easy access to a written proposal, pictures and references handy ready to go for a potential customer. NOPE. His response was it would take a few days to do work on the computer to do that?????? Another thing is that he has NO business cards!! Really! It costs $10 to get them made up or make them up on your computer. Again, if you've been in business for so long and you don't have these simple things ready, it doesn't earn my business.. So, for those reasons i'm paying someone else a little more money to do the job who is more organized and professional. I'm a small business too and when someone asks me something I have it ready. They gave us ideas which we appreciated. They referred us to other providers who could help us such as providers who could take the wallpaper off that was damaging the drywall. They were very responsive. We would use them if we decided to do the work.

Leonard came over to do the estimate and we chose to go with him because of price and because he was able to do the work earlier than some of the other companies we had contacted. He was very friendly to work with and did a great job. There were a few issues with some of the walls that took a little longer to get worked out, but he was willing to work with our schedule and come in when it was also good for us. As some of the other people have pointed out, he isn't the most punctual, and consistently ran late (sometimes several hours), but he would always call when he was on the way. He was concerned with quality and always made sure we were happy with how things were going. He also offered to come by after we had primed the walls to do any further touch ups at no cost, but everything looks great. Overall we are very happy with the work and would recommend him or use him again if we needed more drywall work done.

He is irresponsible and never gave me the estimate. He never called when he said he was going to call. I called him numerous times and he never returned my calls. Found another more responsible contractor.

Leonard did a great job. He did quality work and was much less expensive than the other people I had contacted.

Their price is definitely equitable to what others were asking. He is very friendly and easy to talk to. He is trying to save me money wherever he can.

He was very pleasant and very thorough. He was very efficient. However, I did not go with him. The whole job turned out to be a lot more expensive than I could afford. Everyone I contacted gave me bids, which were more expensive than what I could afford. It is a good company though.

This is the only company that has called me back and followed through. He was great and I was really impressed that he took his shoes off before he came into our house. He listened to the projects that we were thinking of doing and he gave us separate quotes so that we wouldn’t feel bombarded with one big quote. We will be using him and we are just trying to get the schedule set.

He did great on everything with very good attention to detail. He was friendly, accommodating, and professional. He did a many little tasks for me just as we had discussed.

Leonard arrived on time, worked carefully and quietly, prepared the areas to be repaired with minimal intrusions on our family activities. He planned his work well and worked beautifully around our family time needs. He completed the jobs within the estimated time and costs he'd provided. He was cheerful, helpful and considerate. And he cleaned everything up so well that the only way I could tell he'd been here was that everything was fixed!
