NAKED FURNITURE

I took a small unfinished stool to be painted.  They said it had to be a Pratt & Lambert color, so I selected one and they wrote it on the order form.  It took over four weeks for them to paint this little stool, and it was the wrong color.  I took it back along with a sample of the correct paint color and the salesman agreed it was the wrong color and took a picture of it along with the paint sample.  I said I wanted a refund of the painting cost, and was told the manager would call me.  I left three messages for him over the next week.  He never returned my call, but actually answered the phone when I called again to ask for him.  I asked why he didn't return my messages, he said because he knew I wanted a refund and "It's not gonna happen".  He offered to paint it again, but because it took them over a month the first time, I didn't want to give it back to them. I explained the agreement was for them to paint it a given color, they didn't do it, so I wanted a refund.  Again: "It's not gonna happen".  I asked to have the owner call me, but I have not heard from him (it's been over two weeks). I know this was a small project for them and they really don't care about it, but I would never again deal with a business that treats its customers this way. 

I bought a custom order bedroom set , service at the store was friendly and professional. Items came in prior to estimated arrival date. Employees who delivered and set up set were professional and curteous. They came at designated time, helped me move old furniture out, and set up new furniture.
