Mr. Roof of Southeast Michigan

I paid Mr Roof more than $30K for a new roof and the very first winter I had a leak, a big leak, gallons of water. I called them, they said too bad because our warranty doesn't cover ice dams. The second winter it leaked again, same place, called them to get a quote for fixing the bad area. They said send pictures, so I sent pictures. Never heard back from them. The prior roof was there for more than 25 years and never leaked once where it is leaking now. If you want a company that stands behind their work, Mr Roof is not what your looking for!

Outstanding great quality work

The work seemed to be going pretty good until it came to the part of connecting the main roof with the flat roof. The left the flashing propped up jagged with the connection, then a sales rep came back out to caulk the seam and over caulked the area, leaving caulking on the brand new roof. The supervisor was of no help, he said that the area looked fine. Also the cut on the left side of the house was jagged and uneven. They sent someone out for that who was rude and careless. He said that he made the cut worse trying to trim it. I am totally unsatisfied. Even the sales rep came back out and said he understood why we were so displeased with the job.

I hired Mr. Roof to redo my 50 square roof based on the lowest total price. I was impressed by the speed at which they completed the job and how well they cleaned everything up. The crew was also very friendly and accommodating. A few weeks after the job was completed, we had a big rain storm. During the storm, we noticed our upstairs ceiling start to get wet and eventually start to drip. WE had never had a roof leak prior to having our roof replaced. The next day, Mr. Roof sent out a repair guy to check it out. He said it was the flashing around the chimney and redid it. After the next rain the problem was better but not fixed. They sent out the repair guy again. This time he said it was our chimney cap and charged us a lot of money for a custom stainless steel one. Next rain came, same problem. Repair guy came back a third time and said it was some bad bricks on the chimney. We hired a contractor to fix those and the issue seemed to go away for awhile. A different repair guy came back last week who caulked the chimney and said it would stops leaking until we had the entire thing replaced. They would also refer us to a contractor who could do that. Well… It rained again yesterday and the leak is worse than ever. They also never provided us with a repair contractor. Remember, our chimney never had a leak until they replaced the roof. I don’t think that’s a coincidence. I’d say they are now leaving us high and dry, but we are actually low and wet… I really wanted to recommend these guys based on the initial experience, but I now know that their service after the sale is abysmal. Don’t be sucked in by their prices. You get what you pay for.

I have problems with the people who did the siding. The crew was really rude. The man who did the siding called me obscene names when I had an issue with the work. I paid them and I have had issues getting them out to do repairs and the job was only done a month ago. I am very dissatisfied with this experience.

This company rocks! Best price too. Their crew got here at 7:30 am and wanted to beat the rain that was coming around 1:00. They removed 2 layers of shingles, replaced wood and put 33 squares of shingles down- and they were done and gone by 12:30. I couldn't tell they were here - no damage to the landscaping or deck, and no nails left on the ground. Best crew ever!

The Cadillac of roofs! Guaranteed for the life of the house! Things installed that I was not aware existed! Installed in one day! Need a new roof you can rely on! Call Mr. Roof!

the salesman was very informative and helpful. he answered our questions and even brought up a few points we didn't think to ask about. The crew that did the work were fast efficient, courteous and did a wonderful job both on the work and the cleanup afterward. they took the time to explain that the skylights would look quite different and why, it is a very good and welcome difference but still good to understand why. We are very pleased with the work and based on our experience - would definitely recommend Mr Roof !

My roof was old but I was putting off replacing it for as long as I could. Well it started leaking and I had no choice but to replace it. I called around and received estimates from multiple places. Mr. Roof seemed to offer more and was much less expensive. The salesman, Brian, brought other areas to my attention that would need to be fixed soon, which was very helpful. The entire roof was stripped, new venting added, and re-shingled in a day. The end product was amazing. The roof looks great, all the plants were protected and the yard was spotless afterward. I would highly recommend Mr. Roof for anyone looking for a company to do their roof.

We have a large roof and a crew of 15 workers showed up at 7:15am - just as promised. Each worker knew their role and did a great job. Antonio - the crew's manager - was terrific as well. He answered all of our questions, directed the men, and made sure we were happy at each step along the way. After the roof was completed the men did a very good cleanup - including all loose nails. I believe my flower beds were cleaner after they left than when they arrived. Yes, I would absolutely recommend Mr. Roof for your roofing needs.

Beautiful job,fast

Installation went very well. Installers did a great job, and were done faster than I thought they would be. They did a great job protecting our house before doing anything, and did a very thorough clean up.

The sales person was respectful of time. Work crew were professional and respectful. The new roof looks really good. I rated one less star because I called customer service asking about a promotional item and I was told they couldn't talk about it. I just wanted to know the process and time line.
