Mobile Mower Repair

I hired them in 2014. I paid them a little late but I did pay them, in person because I also returned a Universal John Deere Key that was left in my mower's ignition. Now FOUR YEARS LATER I get a notice from a collection agency that I owe them almost $300.00. I call them and am told that they don't show it paid. I ask when the last notice that they sent me was mailed to me and they can't tell me because they don't keep track of notices. The person who handles notices says that he knows he has not sent me one since he began a year ago. I say that I have not received a notice in four years because it was paid. When I said I paid in cash they said that they have had problems with employees taking cash payments so maybe it was stolen! You have to wonder what may get stolen from your property? Don't pay cash to this company. Don't toss out proof of payment for years! Because four years after service and payment in full you too maybe wrongfully sent to collections and extorted for a double payment. Before this I thought highly about this business but knowing how out of control their record keeping is and possible theft issues from employees I would not hire again nor want them on my property if I were not there.

Great. All machines work fine now. Price of $90/hour is a bit steep for service, but for major problems as a couple of these machines had, it's worth it.

They did the work quickly, for a very fair price, and the snowblower has run perfectly since--it starts first pull every time. I really like this shop.

he came in the evening and spent an hour putzing around.  he didn't change out any parts and he charged $180 that i thought was outrageous.

The work was done last Aug. 2013 and the mower worked fine until my last cut sometime in Oct-Nov. when i again couldn't get it to start. I forgot about it until this season when, after changing the oil, air filter and fuse, and putting in fresh gas along with the old gas that I had put in last season hoping to do the last cut, I tried to start it. Nothing. So I called Mobile Mower Repair and told them I didn't want to put any more money into the 8 yr. old machine, but did he have any idea why it wouldn't start? He patiently explained several possibilities and several possible solutions. Then he explained exactly how to proceed with the different solutions, where to find the carburetor, etc. He spent at least 5-10 mins on the phone with me. I tried the thing he suggested I do first and the mower started right up. I really appreciated his helpfulness, his willingness to explain and take the time to suggest several different possibilities.
I would definitely recommend this dealer to others and would use them again if needed. This is a business run by a person with a lot of integrity.

The repairman arrived promptly and worked on the snow-blower in our garage -- which was necessary as we had no way to transport it!
He worked for a couple of hours -- in the January cold to get the job done.
It worked perfectly when he left and got us through the remainder of the winter.
We were very pleased and would use him again and recommend him highly.

We have a riding mower that came with the house. It's probably 20 years old and has seen better days. The mower deck, we discovered, was dangling by a single bracket as the other bracket was broken. This was causing all sorts of problems, uneven mowing, gouges in the lawn, etc, and it was only a matter of time before the other bracket broke.
I managed to get the deck off the tractor then called in mobile mower repair. They would've unmounted/remounted it for me but I wanted to save a little money. They came while I was at work and did the job, welding a new piece of metal to fix the bracket. I went on to mow a whole season (3 acres of grass) so they did a good job. It was a little more expensive than bringing it to the shop, but we didn't have a truck at the time so the onsite service was essential.

I have used Mobile Mower Repair for years and have always been satisfied with their service. I was delighted when I discovered this year that they were on Angie's list. They show up when scheduled and I like that I don't have to be home for them to service my lawn tractor and mower. Andy always does a great job.

I would recommend them. They've done work before, they're always very good. It's convenient, they come to your house whether you're there or not, they take care of it, and they leave you a bill, they never rip you off, and they never do anything they don't have to do, they're great.

He is reliable, he does a good job, he comes to the home, and he is cheap.

I call them each spring (March) to get on their spring tune-up list. They schedule me in and appear at my house as scheduled. The amount of time that it takes and costs are based on how many pieces of equipment that I have, such as tractor/mower, garden tiller, mulcher/grinder, chainsaw--you name it...and even generator. They leave everything as they found it. If during the growing season, I need repair, I simply call and they're out asap. I totally trust them with my equipment and that they're not going to try to cheat me.

I think it went pretty well. Called the guy and he showed up the same day. He described what he'll do: oil change, new spark plug, sharpening blade, lube/clean. The work was done and tested in about 40 minutes. I'm no expert in mowers but it did improve much after the work. It was losing suction before and worked very well afterwards.

They do good work. The responsiveness leaves something to be desired, if you want something in a couple of days it won't happen. But if you're doing something like a spring tune up when you're not in a hurry they do a good job. It's nice that they come out to you and do the work.
