The tech came out and was very courteous and respectful. They had to remove the toilet in order to get the cutter into the line running to the sewer. He did an excellent job cleaning up afterwards as well. The symptom that caused the service call was resolved, sadly there is the possibility of a larger underlying issue.

The service came in the evening at no extra cost and was very efficient and professional. The drain was cleared and checked for any damage, leaks, etc. Service provider was knowledgeable and pleasant and very careful about keeping things clean and tidy and cleaning up after himself.

When we moved in at the end of 2013, we meant to have the line inspected- but couldn't, because we couldn't find the cleanout. Well, we did a little demo over the holidays and uncovered it, so decided now was the time.  The service pro (Justin?) was great- narrated the camera, answered all my questions, and helped me figure out where some "mystery drains" went to with a quick dye test. Will definitely retain them again.

After a bad rain storm, in the early morning, I discovered that my floor drain had backed up an flooded my basement. I had about 2 to 3 inches of standing water. The rain caused a lot of backups and I called several other companies who wouldn't be able to come out for several days. This company said they would come out that night.. They got there at 10 pm. Long story short - he eventually got the water to drain, but he thought the line collapsed. Unfortunately he didn't have the scope, so I had to call someone that could scope the line and replace the sewer if need be.

It went great!  We called and they were able to come out the same day.  They even had evening appointments so that we didn't need to take off of work.  The service person (I unfortunately can't remember his name) was extremely professional, worked efficiently, and didn't make a huge mess in what could have been a very messy job!  We definitely plan on using them if/when the roots grow back...

Sinks to Sewers is my go-to plumber, but they didn't return my call after leaving a message.  Called Michigan Power Rodding on Saturday morning, and they came the same day.  Scott was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional.  Got the clog cleared, checked my the drain in cellar floor for me, gave good tips on how to keep pipes clear.  Accepted a coupon, and gave a 39 day warranty on the work.  Great job!

Truck and one man arrived on time with all the tools necessary, except a ladder.  Total job time about 1.5 hour.  Inspected the problem.  Ran the power snake one way and pulled out roots.  Ran the power snake the other way and cleaned out a plastic blockage.  Ran water through the drain to verify it was open.  Gave me advice about another storm drain that will need cleaning. This job cost more than I expected but the result was worth it.

Stephen was professional and efficient. He arrived within the expected time frame.  The company was willing to adjust their usual blocks of time to suit my availability. The company gave me a call when Stephen was dispatched to my house.   When he arrived, he explained the work and the charges and  adhered to my time constraints.  When the work was completed, he detailed the work performed in writing and explained the warranty on the work.  Overall, a very good experience.

I have used them a number of times. I chose them because they offer service on the weekends without any extra costs.  They came out on a Sunday two hours after I called them.  They are so reliable.  They are in constant contact with me so I know where they are in relation to my house.  I know when they will be there.  If they say they will be there in 10 minutes, they are there in 10 minutes.  They will give you a range, like 9:00 - 12:00 but its not like you would step out and miss them because they are in constant contact with you.  I like their service men.  They really do go the extra mile.  Like, if you say that a little something else is going on, they are really happy to check it out with no extra charge.  The thing is, I knew how much it was going to cost before they came.  They have actually been to the house 6 or 7 times over the years and my experience has always been an A.  I think their pricing is pretty competitive but I have never checked any other prices.  Because they came right out the first time I have always just stuck with them.

They were very good and came on time. I called them in a panic at 3 p.m. and they came at 5:30 p.m. This company corrected the problem and their prices were very reasonable. They were very systematic and had a well-trained technician. I will use them again in the future.

Prompt, professional, effective, and hardworking.  Our incident occured on a weekend.... we called them and 6 hours later, they were here.  They examined the situation and found that they had to go back to their office to get their Gator sewer cleaning machine, but gave us their full attention from the time they arrived to the time the repair was completed.  They explained exactly what they needed to do, discussed various options with their pros and cons in advance, and effectively unclogged the sewer.  They also went beyond the minimum by advising on what to do next.  Not cheap, but excellent and always on duty!

Michigan Power Rodding has worked at my house numerous times over the years- Sept., 2005, April 2006, Dec. 2008 and Sept. 2010 and I cannot say enough good things about them. They are incredibly competent, efficient, knowledgeable, helpful, thorough, caring, and they use excellent equipment. They go the extra mile over and over and really go way beyond the call of duty. I had a very unusual and complicated sewage system in my house which they were able to figure out back in 2005 and then and since they have taken excellent care of it and have been extremely helpful with it.

Came when promised, worked efficiently, offered helpful suggestions to avoid future problems and gave an accurate estimate of charges before beginning work.

I had 2 different sewer problems. Each time they came and fixed it. They were very good. I called a plumber and he said that he did not know how to fix it. Michigan Power came and fixed it. They were very prompt. If something did not work, they would come back and make sure it worked. That was what I liked about them. The prices were not cheap but they were competitive. I will definitely use them in future.

The intermittent water in the basement was casued by the water softener dumping into a floor drain that is connected to the foundation / storm drain system. The technician cleaned out the foundation / storm drain system. A full garbage bag of tree roots were removed from the system. The technician broke the drain cap to gain access to the drains. When he finished he put the water softener hose back in the open drain. He suggested that the next time I go to Lowe's to buy a replacement. Over night the water softener recharged and the the hose came out of the drain spewing water all over the floor - Murphy's law I guess.

They were very punctual. We have used them before. They were professional.

I cannot say they did anything right. Other than showing up, everything else was severely lacking.

I was impressed with the way this company treated me. They were polite and courteous and I could tell they respected me and my home. They wore covers on their shoes while in my home and they laid covers over my carpet to keep them from getting dirty.

I've had Michigan Power Rodding out on three occasions, over the years, to have my sewer line cleaned and EVERY single time they have been prompt and courteous. They give you the price in advance so there are no surprises.

Called because bathtub was backing up and we couldn't clear it with liquid drain cleaners. Tech snaked drain; found mass of "cotton products" (tampons, paper towels, and baby wipes) so no warranty. We do not flush any such products, so assumed they were from previous owners, would be ok. Tub drained fine, charge $273. 3 months later, same problem. Same tech found more cotton products, so not covered by warranty. I objected - we do not flush such products, so if they're down there, he must not have cleared them out the first time. He said line was draining fine when he left, and cotton products now, so no warranty. He ran a camera into the line but couldn't clearly see due material clogging line. Said he'd need to clear line with high pressure water (for extra $600). Scheduled to do that another day, pd $586 for snake & camera. 3rd visit, different tech used camera, found broken pipes! No high-pressure water. Referred us to companies to repair broken pipes. No charge for 3rd.
