John and Ron are extremely honest hard working men who appreciate the fact that money is hard to come by and they will do anything they can to make sure you won't waste yours when you come into their shop.

They are very honest about what needs to be repaired and what doesn't. They are very reasonable for the prices that they give. They also charge for the real time it took on working on the vehicle, rather than wasted time.

. They are the most fabulous auto place, but they can not do everything, when they can not fix it they will tell you where to go to get it done. They were very professional. They would fix small things with no charge

My husband and I have been happy clients of Mallek's for over 30 years. They not only do excellent work, but they are possibly the most honest auto repair shop in town.
I had had an oil change done at a local complete auto care store (which will remain nameless) because it was geographically convenient for me. Never again! As a and quot;favorand quot; to me,( which I didn't ask for, and which kept me waiting for over an hour) they came up with a very detailed and quot;recommended servicesand quot; sheet that totalled $723!!
Since I'm a skeptical person, I gave this detailed report to Mallek's, to have them check out the various items - with the result that I only needed the pcv valve work done. John (the owner of Mallek's) said that everything else was fine. I can't say enough good things about Mallek's. They don't have a fancy waiting room, their parking space is very tight, and you definitely need an appointment to have any work performed (they're busy for a very good reason), but those are the ONLY disadvantages. If you want a quality job done at a reasonable price, by honest mechanics - go to Mallek's Service.

While no repairs were actually completed at Mallek's we greatly appreciate their honesty and professionalism. We trust them fully with minor repairs (again, being a small shop they do not have all of the customized equipment a dealer may have) and honest estimates.

Mallek's Service is an anomaly, an auto service shop you can TRUST. I've taken one of my vehicles to Mallek's four times since it's been out of warranty. On this visit, just as it has been on every other visit, customer service was AMAZING. Mallek's assessed and repaired the problem the same day I called to inquire about making an appointment. The mechanic, Ron, identified the problem as a broken serpentine belt TENSIONER. He took great care to remove the existing serpentine belt, since it was in good condition and could be re-used. He showed me how the belt TENSIONER, the part that had broken and needed to be replaced, had started to separate and was rubbing against another part, making the sound I had been hearing. He was instructive. He was also genuinely concerned, when he said: You shouldn't have been driving this. Ron replaced the broken belt tensioner with a new one from the manufacturer and re-installed the serpentine belt. He charged me for just one-half hour's worth of labor, plus parts. He informed me that there was a one-year warranty on both parts and labor as long as I brought my receipt with me. He recommended I store the receipt in the vehicle for safe keeping and easy reference. Having worked in the auto industry for years and being familiar with the current prices dealerships charge for labor and parts, I'm confident in saying that had I taken my vehicle to a dealership for service, the cost for parts and labor would have been twice as much, at least. EVERY time, I have taken my vehicle to Mallek's for service, I have been impressed by the attention, respect, high-quality customer service and accurate repairs Ron or the owner, John Mallek have demonstrated and effected. On two occasions, the owner, John Mallek, who still works most days as the lead mechanic, inspected my vehicle, identified the root cause of my concern, solved it in twenty minutes or less and sent me on my way without charging me. Though I tried and tried to pay him, because he provided me more value in these two visits than a number of area dealerships and service stations combined have provided me, he wouldn't take a penny. Now, when something goes wrong with my vehicle, I don't stress out about the problem or about being taken advantage of by a dealership with high overhead costs or a service garage motivated by that week's incentives. I think, "I need to call Mallek's," and feel that everything will be fine.
