He was great! Joe repaired three windows. One of which was on the second story. He removed and rebuilt one window including the entire frame and reinstalled it. He replaced the facia board on my porch. He is very thorough in his work and very accomplished. I would highly recommend him!

"Thanks Wanda. I enjoyed working on your projects. But perhaps you forgot to mention that we started your projects with repairs to the rotting fascia boards on the front porch. We did that first so that you could evaluate how I work and whether the labor rate was appropriate, and you decided yes! Because several weeks after I replaced the fascia, you asked me back to deal with your rotting windows. So apparently you were satisfied with my work and the labor rate. I'm rather incredulous that you would rate my work at a 2 and then call me back to do your windows. Isn't that self-contradictory? Is it expensive? Perhaps. The labor rate is $50 per hour - plus materials. Wanda's windows were vinyl replacement windows that had been installed into old wooden jambs. The vinyl seams had cracked, apparently when they were originally installed, and allowed water to penetrate into the wood jambs. From there the water caused rot to spread. My job was to remove the rot. And it's rather difficult to predict the extent of rot when it's located back inside a wall. But as I recall, the overall cost was fairly close to what I estimated. And no, it was not easy. One window was on the 2nd floor above a steep pitched portico roof. I had to install jacks and scaffolding to get access. Anyway, repairing rotten wood can be very expensive, and much of the rot is not visible from the outside and until the siding is removed. So, if you are a homeowner with the slightest hint of rot - get it fixed fast. And make sure that the cause of the rot is cured - not just the symptoms. As I recall, it appeared that somebody had patched Wanda's window rot in the past, and painted over the patch. And that might have seemed "affordable". But they did not cure the cause of the leakage, so the rot continued to expand inside the walls. And that's what I came to fix - the cause of the problem. As for Wanda's so-called "detailed message". well it just so happens that I have a cell phone that records phone calls and dates them, and times them. On August 3, 2018 I got 2 phone calls - but neither are from Wanda. So, I infer that Wanda made a phone call - but she did not call me. So, I'll stop by her house tomorrow and inquire about the window latch."

Joe really knows his stuff. He is very thorough and can do a wide variety of things. He has completed several projects for me already and he is going to be doing more for me. He is working around my schedule and is always on time and ready to go when he arrives. I am very happy with his work!

Mr. Baublis was immediately available - it was a rather important job as the front door handle assembly fell apart and we needed the door to work. It was a holiday weekend and he came right over and figured out the assembly and made it work. Very helpful, and friendly.

Joe came in to remove an old faucet and replace it with one I had purchased. This was, by my estimation, an extraordinarily difficult removal due to the fact that the faucet to be removed refused to come out when I was trying to do it. He had all the correct tools and completed the job quickly. For the same price he quoted, Joe also fixed a few issue with the water pipe and the garbage disposal electrical cord which were underneath the sink. He left the area looking so much better than it did originally. He is personable and, if you have any questions, he answers them thoroughly. He sent an email the day before the appointment and arrived exactly at the scheduled time. Given the great experience, my husband and I are making a list of all the other things we need done that we plan on asking Joe to help us with. All around a great experience and very reasonably priced. I would not hesitate to hire him in the future.

I can't give enough tribute for the job that Joe did for me in cutting out kitchen cabinets and installing a dishwasher in my home. Professional, punctual, courteous, knowledgeable, kept the work area neat/tidy and cleaned up after his labor was finished. Had three quotes where Joe's aligned as very reasonable in comparison to the others -- to the point of being extravagantly inexpensive -- and contrary to today's universal business attitude Joe came out and did the job in a few hours on a Sunday afternoon without increasing his prior week's estimate for his installation. It may have been April 1st, but not April Fools.

I callled Joe the Tuesday before Christmas. My whole family was to arrive on Friday. The handy man who had started my home makeover the week before never showed up on Monday. My house was half painted, two sinks had been removed , but the new ones were still sitting in the boxes. The new base board was lined uncut across the kitchen and I was in a complete panic. I spoke with Joe at 2:00pm on Tuesday and he was at my house by 4:00 to give me a more than reasonable estimate considering it was going to be a rush job. He was back the next morning and everything was beautifully completed by Friday at 5:00 when my family came. Thank you Joe!
