JKC Plumbing Sewer & Drain

I was out of town on a hunting trip and the water heater in our new house stopped heating the water. We called our home warranty company that put in a work order with JKC plumbing. My wife called JKC the next day to check the status of work order. She talked to James that was short with her and on the verge of being rude. He told her he would call her when he had the work order. I was the one that put in the work order (from the UP) so she called JKC back to tell James to actually call her at her number rather then me in the UP. When James picked up he was very short with her. He told her that he would call her back and she needed to stop calling. He told her he was with an actual customer and needed to go and hung up on her. When I heard this report I called James myself. I advised him that the only thing I hate more then cold showers is people being rude to my wife. At this point James said he was denying the job and asked if he could help me further. I told him he needed to call my wife and apologize at which point he hung up on me. We are new to this home warranty thing and maybe its a pain for companies like JKC to deal with but that is absolutely no reason to be rude to a lady trying to get hot water in the house so she can give her babies warm baths at night. I am from the Ann Arbor area and plan to spread the word about James and JKC to anyone and everyone that will listen.

All of the employees have been prompt, polite, and have given clear detailed explanations of cause/solution without being condescending (which I often get from tradesmen) and I noticed they wear clean shoes! I can tell they put forth an effort to clean up behind them - not as good of job as I would do myself, but I appreciate their gesture to not leave things filthy. And I feel like their prices are fair. I have called on JKC several times and will continue to when we are faced with a need for a plumber.
