In buying a foreclosed home, you have a short window for inspections. Dan answered the phone on my first try (no one answered at any other service) and had Patrick out the next day to do the inspection. Patrick had bought and restored a number of foreclosed homes himself, and was able to give a thorough assessment of the issues with this home. He spent more than two hours with me, and answered all questions patiently and thoroughly. We had a full report with photos via email the day Patrick came out - which was about 24 hours after my initial call to the group. Patrick identified issues with the home in time that I could have estimates for the needed work (HVAC, plumbing and electrical) completed within the seven-day inspection period, too! This made my purchase much less stressful. Kudos to Dan and Patrick. I am considering having Patrick come do an inspection of my own home in the spring to help me identify any issues that may have come up since I bought it more than a decade ago, so obviously, I intend to hire them again.

Paul was the gentleman who performed the inspection. He was punctual, thorough, informative, and courteous. At the end of the inspection he e-mailed a 35 page report which he went over with me. He took the time to explain things and was very patient.

Pat Nolan was on time, objective and very thorough.  He inspected the entire exterior of the building very thoroughly despite being 0 degrees outside. He inspected all rooms and levels of the home including the attic and basement.  All of the heating, plumbing, and electrical systems were inspected/tested for deficiencies, leaks and code violations. All of the radiators were scanned with an infrared camera to reveal any problems.  He was very knowledgeable with all aspects of the inspection and was able to answer all of my questions regarding issues with the 120+ year old house.  The entire inspection was summarized into a pdf report that included pictures and explanations of all of the items inspected and any defects or code issues. The report was completed at the end of the 3 hour inspection and sent to me before I arrived home.  Very likable guy, that seemed to be very happy to do the work. Highly recommend them for anybody looking for an home inspection.
