My daughter was in the process of selling her house, and was provided with some items to repair after the home inspection by purchaser. I contacted Handyman Hero, and was in touch with Alexander Kroenung, who operated quickly to make contact with my daughter, and was able to address all needed repairs "under the gun" and right on time. His work was as quoted, and was "spot-on" It is good to know that real SERVICE still exists. This company has my recommendation.

Alexander didn*t show up for his appointment. We had emptied out the entire kitchen. When I called, he claimed he had worked late the night before, and figured we would figure out he wasn*t coming when we saw the expected snowstorm. It wasn*t snowing. He didn*t come the next day either. In the interim, my wife told me that when he initially came for the estimate, he was hitting on her and asking her out. She is the owner, his client, 59 YEARS OLD, and my wife! When I confronted him with this, he was stubborn, and claimed he hadn*t crossed any of his boundaries. Well, he crossed mine, and my wife*s as well. Finally he agreed to refund my 50% payment. He refused to refund the $280 initial estimate fee. Maybe he does good work, I wouldn*t know. But I know he is undependable, and inappropriate with his female clients.

I had an incredible experience, and I m so thankful I found Handyman Hero. They were on time, professional, and I love their work. I d highly recommend them to anyone else.

I didn't have a single complaint against the guy. He was awesome. He did a phenomenal job.

Alexander did a very nice job! We had a tight schedule due to the alignment of work with other teams and had to ask him to schedule on a very short notice. He was very flexible and came in for the next two days to ensure everything is done as required. He had to do all the cabinet removals, stopping plumbing, moving appliances and he did all of that on time. He finished the work and cleaned up the whole space on both the days after the work. I greatly recommend him.

Alex did great job. Job quality was good and right on time for the job.

We wanted to have wallpaper removed, then needed drywall repaired, primed and painted. On top of that, we wanted our faucet replaced. Alexander said he could get all this done in one day. We questioned this, but he confirmed. He charges $50/hour- which is more than my extremely talented/licensed brother who can do anything from rough to fine carpentry with excellence. Alexander does not have the speed, knowledge, skills, or tools to charge in this league. He arrived at our house at 8 am. He left later for 2 hours and 15 minutes. He said an hour of that was lunch that he didn't t charge us for. The other hour and 15 minutes were for the Lowe s run he made for more wallpaper removal. Lowe s is 15 minutes from our house, and also I m not sure why we would have to pay for him to make a supply run when he should have purchased enough supplies the first time he was there. He tried to charge us $56 for a drop cloth. He bought paint brushes/extension pole and other materials that any handyman should already own. I would never expect to pay for someone stools that they are keeping to use for another job. This is exactly what he tried to con us into, however. At one point he wanted to go buy a nail gun. He said we would pay the $70 for the cost of the cheapest one, and he would pay the difference to get a higher quality brand. Why would I pay any money toward a tool he is keeping? He said customers have appreciated this in the past, and its clear he has used less aware folks to buy his equipment. It's so unfortunate to hear of someone taking advantage of those who don t realize how things are supposed to work. Do your homework. Don t let him screw you over with supply purchases you don t need. Make sure you keep any supplies you do pay for. At the end of the day, we owed him 8.5 hours worth of work + supplies that we didn't t authorize being purchased and all we got out of it was one wall of wallpaper/glue removed and one wall of wallpaper removed with glue still on the wall. He was definitely milking this job for all it was worth. He claimed he would have it all done in that amount of time, yet here we are now trying to finish the job we already paid him for.
